Barcelo Tiran Sharm hotel is in a slightly secluded location. The main reception is a good 10 minutes walk from the gated entrance. It is difficult to get to Sharm el Seikh from the hotel due to lack of affordable transport. The only option to go to town is by ridiculously expensive taxis, even if they were booked by the hotel’s own limousine service. Rooms are clean, room service is excellent, the hotel grounds are well maintained, grass and flower beds are beautifully manicured. Good choice of food, but all of the alcoholic drinks are substandard quality, there is room for improvement in this department.

V friendly staff but often some of them are trying to sell you something or seeking tips. The hotel is a bit in need of a refresh and the facilities are limited. Also, the haggling at the shops on the hotel premises can get very frustrating. There are no set prices for anything.

The hotel really needs updating. The facilities are old and need modernising. It all looks a little sorry and in need of TLC. As it is on a coral reef, access to the beach is limited to a small part of the beach with people going downstairs at 4.30 to claim the beds by the water. The food is really not what we expected but the staff were mostly nice.

Nice hotel. Some parts a bit worn. Pool and beach area are great. Beds a bit hard. Taps and shower not working the best. Staff were great. Very helpful and attentive. Tipping is obviously expected. People selling the services can get a bit much. Especially the beauty salon guy. Trying to sell a bald man a haircut and nails.

We had an amazing stay. Although the property is a bit outdated the atmosphere overall was fantastic. Very pleasant and engaging staff, wonderful facilities , food was good also but it could do with more varieties. Sharm is amazing and we looking forward to go back.

Barcelo was an amazing hotel to stay at in Sharm El Sheikh. The staff were very warm and generous. They consistently went the extra mile to make my partner and I feel welcome. I celebrated my birthday here and as soon as Basem found out, he arranged a little cake with a candle and the staff sang as well for me. I would definitely recommend. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and especially Mostifa, Basem, Hassar and Mahmoud at the restaurant and bar. We spent a week here and at the end we did not want to leave! Hope to be back soon.

Wonderful long stay!

今回は70日間、リモートワークをしながら滞在しました。 残念な点もあったもののトータルの評価としては大満足の95点です。 特にクリスマスからハッピーニューイヤーにかけてのレストランメニュー（ランチ・ディナー両方）はとても素晴らしく、キューバ歌手やアルゼンチン舞踊団を招いてのショーはとても楽しかったです。 プライベートビーチもNabq保護公園に位置していて、ビーチエントリーからのシュノーケリングで無数の魚と珊瑚礁を楽しめます。 また併設されたダイブセンターBlue Planetには多くのダイビングプログラムが用意されていて、特にプライベートボートでのダイビングは最高。 ややお値段ははりますが、自分たちのグループだけのプライベートだし、行きたいダイブスポットもリクエストできて、熟練ガイドのラマダンがその日の流れやコンディションを考慮してガイドしてくれます。幸運にもハナゴンドウクジラの群れがいるとの情報を船頭さんがキャッチして遊覧してくれたりとプライベートならではのサプライズでした。 ホテルスタッフもみなフレンドリーで優しく、いつもちょうどいい距離感で気遣ってくれました。 最初の頃はビーチやプールサイドでのエステなど客引きにうんざりしたけど、行きたい時には自分から行くからとハッキリ断ってからはもう言ってこなくなり、勧誘ではなく自然に会話できるようになりました。こちらの意志をハッキリ伝えれば、何の問題もなく付き合えます。 レストランでも長期滞在の私たちが飽きないようにとパスタを毎日、味変してくれたモハメッドさんなど、70日間もいたので、ここには書ききれないほどたくさんの素敵な思い出があります。 バルセロの全員にありがとうと伝えたいです。 こちらのホテルは高級ホテル過ぎず、でもスタッフも施設もサービスも料理も素晴らしい、プチ贅沢なホテルです。 美しい紅海のシャルムを楽しみたいなら超オススメです。 最後に特にお世話になった友達たちへ Special thanks to Restaurant: Pasta Mohamed, Manager Bassem Bar: Kamer Reception: Ali Said 素敵な滞在をありがとう！

We enjoyed our holiday, the hotel was very good, staff friendly and helpful, the pool & the beach are very nice and the beach is perfect for snorkeling also. the food can be better and the spa is not great!

We stayed at Barcelo for our honeymoon and it was lovely! The food was great and the beach is beautiful. The rooms were very clean and we were welcomed with a lovely cake! although it did take a couple calls to get toothpaste brought to us, we were sent a fruit plate as an apology for the tardiness!
