Our second stay at this Urcove location! Positive experience again and this time we had breakfast included with our stay. Great location, walking distance to Jingan with many great food options. Close to subway, and room feels new and clean. Service and breakfast options are good. Only thing is while it’s a smoke free hotel, guests still smoke in their rooms and it travels to our room through the vents. Both stays this occurred which is unfortunate. But something quite common in most hotels in China probably.

Good hotel, convenient location. Line 14 metro is less than 1 minute walk, and jing'an metro is just 10 minute walk, although you can take line 14 and get off after 1 stop. Staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke pretty good English. Plenty of bottled water available on request. Room was very warm (#8002), but a fan was available on request, and a window could be opened. There is a family Mart convenience store directly opposite the hotel so food, snacks, and drink is easily available. Overall a decent hotel with good access to the metro system. I'll be staying here next time I visit Shanghai.

We liked the fast & easy check in with a really friendly and helpful staff (Alice). The room was really spacious with a big comfy bed, clean sheets & towels, the sink/make up area, the toilet, the shower...are all separate. The room attendent was really really nice (she was on the 7th floor). The mini bar with (pops/snacks) was stock up daily. The breakfast buffet was good (but the food temperature can be more hot) Easy access by metro from PVG airport

Extraordinary moment begins right at the hotel driveway when our car door opens up. There stood James who greeted us and all other guests with pride and his warmness. The reception staff is kind of cute too when she whispered to me so as not to let my better half hear us. Is our anniversary stay! Room service is so prompt. The nice people at the Club lounge that delivers their services with passion and honour. The driver is also very courteous and drives with care. Special mention to DM Vimi for her unreserved help, care, swift arrangement, and generousity. Finally, it is our pleasure to have Steven, FOM, for wrapping up our stay with MO with his well-wishes and for sending us off. An experience that is truly unforgettable.

Excellent hotel

Hotel is better than we thought. Modern and clean, with free laundry service. Breakfast is excellent, staff friendly. It is close to a subway station (within 3-5 mins walking) so very convenient.

Over all experience was excellent. Comfortable bedding, separate shower and the restroom was perfect, especially the bidet. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Only thing I would say is chairs and the booths in the dining room area need some work.
