Very quick check in and very helpful staff about my early flight the next day. Even gave us a goodie bag (aka breakfast) on the go. Shuttle was quick and easy. I like my room cool at all times, ac works not like some places only have heat, it has window.

This is a very convenient, well-run property near the airport that offers frequent (complimentary) shuttle service to/from the airport. The front desk and restaurant staff are extremely attentive. Having stayed at a few Holiday Inn-hotels in the past (Cancun, Montreal, USA) I have to say this was the best experience we've ever had with the brand. The hotel is set up to offer everything a traveller might need when for overnight connections and longer stays, though a bit far from Shanghai city to explore if time is a concern. The breakfast is varied, offering both Asian and Western fare, plenty of coffee and healthy options. Recommended.
