This two-bedroom chalet features two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, and one with a queen size bed, and 2 bathrooms, each with a whirlpool tub. The living room and kitchen sit in a lowered area and off the entrance and have vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows where you can sit back and take in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. The living room comes fully equipped with a sleeper sofa, coffee table with built in foosball game, seasonal wood burning fireplace, and a 50-inch TV. The fully equipped kitchen offers a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. You can also soak away the day in the hot tub will taking in a serene, wooded view. It was a beautiful cabin. If you like the woods and idea of being in the mountain- this had it.It wasnt cleaned very well though. Cupboards were so sticky, couldnt open them. (Took a chunk out of one of my fingers opening one). Counters and bedside table was sticky as well. A book of mine got ripped apart for trying to move it after sitting there overnight. Hot tub was awesome to have but half the jets didnt work. The one bathroom shower head sprayed water everywhere. The floor was lifting up and felt mushy.

Well the “seasonal pool access” was a bit misleading. We did not see or visit this pool. BECAUSE ITS 10 MILES AWAY!! Was so disappointed when learning this info. Was lead to believe it was close by. Even brought the recommended “extra beach towels” (8 in total) with us! And that alone was frustrating considering our vehicle was packed to the gills, we could have used that space for something else. The property was beautiful. Our stay was absolutely wonderful, other than no pool time. The cabin and location are both beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy or enjoy their space. The beds are close to replacement time. As well as the saggy couch. The kitchen is missing a few handy components such as a cutting board, pizza pan or cookie sheet, mixing bowl(s), tongs, etc. The grocery is conveniently just a few miles away. Although you probably won’t realize that until after you have been there in daylight. The ride in will make you think you’ll never find your way, but you will!! The only critters we saw were squirrels and a skunk. Overall, “Angels Gift” was just that, and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

The cabin was not very clean. The master bed had a large hump in the middle of the mattress. I pulled the fitted sheet back to see what was wrong with the mattress and found a mattress cover with blood all over it. I pulled it off and washed it, just so I would feel comfortable in the bed. I also flipped the mattress to get rid of the large hump.

Yearly Family Vacation

Every year we find a new cabin to rent for our yearly vacation. We chose Fireside Chalets this trip. Overall the cabin was clean. Besides the upper windows that show the outside view of the mountains. Had they been clean, we could've taken the perfect picture of the mountains from inside the cabin. The hot tub worked amazing. Each bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub. Big and spacious. Washer and dryer worked well. Door dash delivery Easy check in. We did have an issue checking out. That was extremely stressful especially with three children. Overall everything was great.

Terrible experience

The location and view from the outside was great, but the inside of the cabin had obviously not been cleaned prior to our stay. Immense dust everywhere, dried food on “clean” dishes and hair on the walls in the showers. On top of that, there were huge leaks in the ceiling in almost every room. The kids could not sleep in one of the beds due to a leak right above the bed and we couldn’t get in the shower in one room due to the issue. With the time of year we went and getting snowed in this was a huge inconvenience! My pregnant daughter was shocked when turning on a light switch due to the leaking in the walls or faulty wiring I’m assuming. We reached out to the host to handle privately, but unfortunately have still not been contacted in regards to the issue or the stay. Very disappointed that this was how our first Christmas together in years was spent.

Pictures don’t do it justice

What a beautiful location up in the mountains, just miles from Pigeon Forge. We rested up from work and got to enjoy helicopter ride in town. Shopped and ate but mostly stayed at the cabin because it was so perfect. There are neighbors near by (maybe a half acre away from this cabin on both sides), trees all around will block your view, though! It’s secluded and refreshing! For those who are curious - the lay out of cabin was perfect for older folks like us. When you walk through front door; the bedrooms are on either side of you, you walk down 5-6 steps at end of the hall to get to the living room and kitchen. There is a large patio with big hot tub, 4 rocking chairs and a grill outside the kitchen/livingroom. Some cabins have around 15 steps up to second floor and it’s exhausting taking luggage up and down. Not this cabin. It’s easy. Simple but perfect 😍

Everything was great except the cleanliness of the cabin. Floors are dirty, dust on top of refrigerator, Popcorn and peanuts in the sleeper sofa, hair in tub jets. Would be an extremely nice place to stay if cleaned.
