Perfect for our family

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed. The views at this cabin are absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be staying here again soon!

Beautiful but gross

Cabin was beautiful with amazing views. Easy to drive anywhere but there were lady bugs everywhere and I mean everywhere. The fridge was leaky so we called the owner who said they would send someone out yet they never showed up. Also there were not enough towels for the amount of people it’s advertised for. Also there is no wifi so be prepared for that. The floor (and who knows what else) was definitely NOT clean. We spilled water and when we used a towel to wipe it up the towel was brown. Good enough for a college spring break!

Perfect for our family of three!

This cabin had everything we needed. The location is secluded and the views are magnificent. There were some ladybugs and two bees, but it’s a cabin in the woods! We had a great stay at Sky Views

Thanksgiving Getaway

Amazing Views!! Hot tub was great. There was a bee and lady bug problem. I could tell that the cabin had been treated recently as they were dieing. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means.

Great other than…

Prior to getting to the cabin I contacted the property manager about a “K-cup” coffee maker and they responded. Once getting to the property , check in was a breeze. Just pull up and put in the code they provide you. The exterior of the property was clean other than the hose just thrown on the patio and some cans just below the cabin. The interior was okay. I say “okay” due to a lot of bugs being in the cabin, previous occupants clothing tags all in the bed room. The smart tv didn’t work due to no WiFi being available like it’s advertised. Had to buy new batteries for the cable remote for it to work. The bedroom tv was useless due it not having a cable box or the satellite hooked up I attempted to contact the property manager via text (which they read) and email with no luck of a reply. The jets on the tub were dirty. It may be stained but there’s stuff to get them cleaned. Other then that it was a good stay

The view is amazing but infested with bugs!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking so forward to this trip for months. Saving all the money I had to be able to afford this. A huge reason I booked this house was for the hotub with a nice view I could relax in. Here is what happened when we went. The view is outstanding. If thats all you want then go here.The house is pretty. Very spacious and looks just like the photos. Check in easy and direct. The house has very little in it so if you go bring your own things. On to the main issue. The house is infested with bugs oh..my...god. I read the reviews menchioning this but chose to ignore it because some people are just picky. No, its bad . We had to kill aboit 12 bees/wasps in the bedroom and sweep out im guessing thousands of bugs eachday. It was so bad we couldnt lay in the beds or sit anywhere without them crawling on us. I wanted to leave but couldnt find any available cabins such short noticed. The infestation is so bad the bugs hitchhiked all the way back in our suitcases into our home now. Its been a nightmare. Next the hottub smelt like a dead body was in it and infested with bugs and dirt also. We couldnt keep the cover open to look in it for more than a second without gagging. I called and wrote the main agent and they said someone would come to fix these issues. They did respond and said they would come but nobody did. Ive been trying to get ahold of them for two weeks now but no response. I have pics of everything. Long story short. Not worth it......

Traumatizing experience

This was the dirtiest cabin I have ever stayed in. As soon as you walk in thousands of dead and alive bugs in the cabin. We called the company and they told me to get a broom out of the closet. After paying the $200 cleaning fee I knew it wasn’t my job to clean the cabin myself. The company eventually sent house keeping out to our cabin and they did an awful job. Left so many dead lady bugs, yellowjackets, and wasps. You could not even stand in this house without lady bugs landing on you. The condition of the cabin is horrible. bugs get in every door and window. We had a mouse run by our head while we were sleeping, we set three mouse traps and caught two mice the three nights we stayed there. The house is honestly a nightmare please do not waste your money here until they do something about their cabin. The thermostat is broken, the water heater has something wrong with it and there are many lights out. The bathtub in the house also barely works. This house has the prettiest view but the condition of the house is similar to a jungle. Please do something about this cabin!! Also update the cabin pictures because they are out dated and not accurate. 0/10 cabin :(

Absolutely amazing view with a not so good house

The view is possibly the best in the smokies. Absolutely gorgeous. Management emailed saying that before leaving anything less than a 5 star review to let them know of issues. After notifying them about the issues they asked which cabin I was in then never responded anymore. So here’s the whole thing. The house appears nice but there a mouse problem, the air conditioner doesn’t remotely keep up with set temperature during the day, and discovered on the last day that the ceiling leaks. The indoor hot tub only gets roughly 3/8 full before the water heater runs out and only 2 of the 6+ jets work. Multiple light bulbs out through out the house. BUT the view is seriously one of the best in the area. Rivals many of the scenic outlooks in the area along scenic routes.

Bad start to vacation.

The rental was dirty had mice and live cockroaches plus advertised for 8 people and sofa wasn’t a sleeper sofa . The whirlpool jacuzzi was dirty with mold .. very bad situation got there on July 8 @4pm left by July 9 @10 am .. super frustrating disappointment .. had to look for lodging elsewhere and pay additional money to continue vacation and still waiting to hear on my refund .

TLC needed!! Waste of money!!

This property needs some TLC. Pictures on this listing are outdated. Furniture is worn, lightbulbs are blown throughout the house, mice get into your food and luggage, carpenter bees are eatting away at the cabin and that have attracted a woodpecker who does a 6 am wakeup jackhammer on the side of the house. The drive up is pretty but the closer you get to the cabin the more overgrown the weeds are on the side of the road and garbage is on the grounds around the porch, including old underwear. Overpriced cabin that under delivers. No complaint resolution...said would send exterminator and housekeeping and no one came. Do not waste your money.

The property had a great view of the mountains. I do wish it would have had a washer and dryer. Also keurig didn’t work and we told manager and they said they would replace but didn’t. But all in all it was a great place and I would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Also the upstairs bed frame was broke but still usable.

It’s all about the views…and the bear

What a wonderful group to rent from! So accommodating! Their responses were immediate and they were so helpful! The cabin was awesome!! The view from the porch needs to be experienced…you are looking over the Smokey Moutains. We spent hours there, with coffee, drinks and snacks. It was amazing! Yes…the drive up is winding and steep but the payoff is well worth it!! And I must mention the morning we were preparing breakfast and an adorable bear peeked into the kitchen window! (I think he smelled the breakfast burritos) We were delighted!! What a cutie. He didn’t stay long and disappeared when he saw us rushing for our cameras. The cabin itself is spacious and lovely. The three of us (sisters trip) were very happy with the accommodations.

Birthday week

Property is everything one could expect and more. Spent the week there and everything was great. Only thing I would suggest is some direction on all the electronics. Had one day of rain and wanted to watch a dvd couldn’t figure out how to switch anything over.. otherwise it well worth it…
