This property was perfect for my wife and I and our two teens to get away for a long weekend. The location was great...secluded enough in the mountains for great, quiet views of the sunset over the mountains, but close enough to the National Park and all the things to do nearby. The pool table was in great shape, the game console was awesome, the heat worked all over the house when you followed the directions for the downstairs fireplace heaters and the WiFi was flawless. The grill worked fine for cooking and the kitchen was stocked. You aren’t renting a suite at the Four Seasons, you are renting a cabin in the mountains. Of course a rental property will have some hiccups. They were not the most comfortable beds in the world, but just fine for sleeping. There was some uneven heating at night, but warm in the bedrooms. The grill had some hotspots, and we had a handful of ladybugs inside when it got cold. The upstairs bathroom had a faint odor but nothing too bad. Those are the honest negatives, and they PALE in comparison to how great the game room, hot tub, decor, location, view and comfort of the entire place. The pictures are spot on. The views of the sunset and stars and Smoky Mtns are phenomenal, and plenty of chairs to sit outside while grilling, while others are in the hot tub or while drinking your coffee in the morning looking at the mountains. The property manager called to check in on us, and the check in came early and all the procedures were simple. We had a blast hanging in the hot tub, shooting pool, battling Frogger and Galaga and playing cards at the spacious kitchen table. Teens are tough to please, and mine wanted to spend MORE time in the cabin than in town...and that is the highest praise I can give this place! I would go back to this property in a second with my family, and we have stayed in a lot of hotels and VRBOs in the past.
