The room we booked was supposed to have a balcony island view. It had a 5 inch fake balcony and view of the front parking lot. The room had no water, no tea, no coffee, no cups. We got no turn down service or complimentary tortuga cakes. Wanted to upgrade, but hotel sold out. Also, people were saving at least 2 extra chairs on beach. You could not even find a seat. Beautiful beach and all the food was great. Geared toward families a lot of kids running around.there really wasn’t a good ocean view from rooms. The back of the hotel view is all pools and bars then beach. Hotel only has 5 floors. After we told front desk of our disappointments they corrected the next day. For the price of hotel it was disappointing. The Ritz is two hotels down on beach also, if you can afford it it was absolutely gorgeous. We always book through travelocity or Expedia this time we were disappointed. Hotel nice, but probably stay elsewhere next time. There are shops and restaurants across the street. Even a store like our Cosco in USA. Mini mart and liquour store across street too. Very noisy place to us. Be prepared there are chickens walking around all of Grand Cayman. The roosters start crowing at 330am. Beach had white sand clear water with no shells and a lot of coral pieces. All water sports were ready available. Take note taxi from airport to hotel has increased to 31 dollars one way. You are about 7 miles away. Enjoy!!

The front desk staff and most of the service staff could have cared less that we were there. Staff was rude as a whole. Will not recommend this hotel to our friends or family. Cleaning staff were fabulous!!! Those ladies were friendly & helpful every time we interacted.

Rooms were great size and bathrooms are updated nicely. The pool is a good size but has a swim up bar on one side that sometimes made the pool smell like a dirty bar. Staff is not as friendly as other vacation destinations we’ve been to. The beach area is really nice with plenty of chairs and space to play. The main problem with the hotel is that they don’t cool the building well. The lobby and halls are often warm and the room thermostat will not allow you to go cooler than 68 degrees F. This made sleeping at night uncomfortable with how warm and humid Cayman is.

While groups do sometimes visit, our staff works very hard to ensure each guest enjoys a relaxing experience, and I regret that we were unable to offer you this. I also apologize if the benefits of our resort fee, like Stand-Up Paddleboard, Beach Yoga, use of the sauna, hot tub, and steam room, many activities for kids, Beach Ambassadors and so much more was not effectively communicated to you and I will pass your comments along to the supervisors who can ensure improvements are made. We hope you'll give us another chance to improve your initial impression of us.

Lovely resort on the water with beautiful atmosphere. People very nice and helpful. Many guests with very small children. Chairs and towels are part of resort fee. All other beach activities are extra. Hotel is expensive but worth it.
