Great location great water sports

Right on 7 mile beach. Resort fee a little steep but includes snorkeling gear, kayaks, sail boat lessons and use, rafts, etc. Unlimited views of sunrises and sunsets made this vacation one of the best yet.

The Ritz

Pros: 1) Fantastic, helpful, hardworking staff 2) Cleanliness of facility
Cons: If you have to charge "over the top" drink prices, make them a real drink.
Location: Brief cab or van ride gets you anywhere on the island. Better idea to dine at outside restaurants.
First Class staff and facility, and well located on GCI. With the exception of breakfast, however, we thought the food was pretty average. Sushi was below average, instead try either of the outside Thai restaurants. The drinks are a mystery. A watered-down, icy JW & coke is $22 US in the club and a mini-mimosa at the pool around $25 US. Smuggle in your own bottle(s)!

Welcoming staff, gorgeous resport

Location: Can go horseback riding, scuba diving, hiking or virtually anything you want on an island that's safe, relatively wealthy and fun.
From a room upgrade upon arrival to the helpful beach attendants, everyone bent over backwards to make our visit exceptional. Perfectly located for access to beautiful beaches or the myriad island activities, if you can afford it, you can't do better. Boats pull up to the resort for snorkeling or stingray trips, children will enjoy the water park and movie nights, and adults will love the restaurants and clubby bars.

FIRST AND LAST TIME TO CAYMAN AND THIS RITZ CARLTON. TOO MANY HIDDEN COSTS AND LIMITED MENU'S. MUCH BETTER FOOD CHOICES AROUND THE TOWN. PUNTA CANA MUCH SUPERIOR HOSPITALITY, FOOD, AND HOTE SERVICES.

Excellent!

This hotel was excellent!  The room was great, service was great, and the best thing was getting the "club" access.  This saved a ton of money on food!  Plus, it was not crowded and was a nice break from having to sit at a restaurant.  Our kids loved it as well.  One of the great things about the Ritz was all of the amenities, like the snorkel gear, the sailing, the paddle boards and kayaks.  It was nice to not have to rent this once we got there.  This is a great place if you want to be busy or you just want to sit and relax.  We loved the service and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  We would definitely come here again!  It's worth the money if you can make it work! Our only downside to the trip was having jewelry stolen out of one of our bags (happened at one of the airports, not the hotel), and having our camera bag stolen on our first day at the hotel before we checked in.  The customs person at the airport said locking your bag does no good.  They have a master key to every lock and can open any bag they want. Not exactly sure how it all happened, but lots of lessons learned.

Worth every dime!!!!

First time there although expensive it was worth every dime especially if you have kids. Their Ambassador programs were great for the kids. Many to choose from. All restaurants were excellent. Staff service were on their game every day and were very personable. Pools were great, beach service was excellent. The funniest part about the place was that every vacationer has to get up super early to kicky for a good pool chair or beach chair position!! Really funny to see human nature during this phase every morning!:-) those who have been there know what I am talking about. Cannot wait to go back. Oh, also hire Paul owner of the 40 foot six sense boat ride for sting ray city. 300 hundred an hour but he gives a great tour.
