We found the staff to be very off hand, seemed like we were an inconvenience. The only friendly team member was the chambermaid. Constant over powering smell of air freshener, in the lobby lift and corridors , this was throughout our stay. Scheduled building work we were not told of this prior to coming? Simply told there will be noise and there is nothing they can do about it We ordered a breakfast box as we were on an early trip, the evening before I tried to cancel as our trip was moved to a later time, was told no, meaning we could not even get a drink before we left

Clean room, nice and helpful staff. We were traveling with a baby and a crib was available on demand. The hotel was doing room improvements when we stayed there in January 2026 and that was a bit of a distraction but didn't change our comfort level. The hotel is in a quiet area and very close to 2 subway stations and quite central. It's easy to walk to most of the sightseeing spots. If I had a bone to pick, it's the lack of real mugs or glasses. Only paper cups were available for some odd reason.

Great location, near Temple and Palace on bus and subway, great breakfast! They give you a discount pass for breakfast when you check in. No need to prepurchase.

Three single beds in a room was rather cramped. Room was too hot as cooling turned off for winter. Resolved by opening window. In all other respects, excellent. Breakfast was very good for Korean food and OK for Western food. Good value with reduction if room booked.

The are Insadong-gil was very nice and convenient area. Walkable to nice areas and lots of restaurants and cafes. The hotel was very clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel a lot.
