Very close to the subway. Depending on which subway line you are coming from, there can be a short or a bit of walk to the hotel underground. Exit #9. Quiet, clean, and modern. Would stay here again. Breakfast was decent spread. Pro tip: Note that there are two entrances for this hotel: You can enter from inside Musina Standard Store on Yanghwa-ro street during the store's business hours (the hotel's lobby is connected to the back of the store), or the second entrance is the main entrance on Hongsik-ro street.

This was one of the easiest stays of all locations I've traveled. The train and bus stops are less than 100m away and there are countless restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and olive youngs near by. The hotel has a great view of hongdae and has all of the amenities except for a pool... Not that you will go swimming in one of the busiest and fun locations in all of Asia. Highly recommend and you will not regret your visit.

The staff at this hotel is incredible all around, I cannot stress this enough. The hotel is right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and things to do, which was exactly what we were hoping for. The room was great: comfortable, clean, and quiet. We will absolutely be staying here every time we return to Seoul.

It has been our second time visiting Mercure. The rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable. Staff are friendly and helful. Located so conveniently in the heart of Hongdae, you never run out of things to do. Highly recommend!

The hotel was near by the public met station , University Hongdae, and surrounded by lots of shopping, dining, cafe options but this is the ONLY good thing about this property. The hotel is old and have deficit around the sink area and lots of furnitures, depending on the room you get upon check-in. It is not up to a 4 star hotel standard, but if you don’t mind the above, its location is the best. Staffs are friendly.

There are better options.

Directions to the hotel are unclear as the hotel is around the block from the address. The room had a small card that said, Here’s a snack.” There was no snack. There was only one coffee pod, no creamer. The shower head leaked and sprayed everywhere. If you adjusted the temp too quickly the shower head would disengage. The room is fairly cramped. The thermostat didn’t do anything.
