It's a shame to review the hotel this low, the hotel itself is really lovely. Absolutely huge for the price, and clean and tidy.
However, when I booked it, I saw a lot of reviews talking about the sound. "I'll be fine" I thought. "I've camped in festivals a thousand times, stayed in hotels in party districts all over the world and I've never had a problem."
Famous last words.
This hotel is LOUD LOUD. Earplugs do nothing. I had to sleep with my headphones in every night playing soft gentle piano music on sound blocking mode and even then sometimes the music would seep through.
I hope you like "party rock anthem", 'cause you're gonna hear it A LOT.
Do yourself a favour and listen to the reviews. Unless you really can sleep through anything, don't book this hotel.
The music from the clubs goes on until at least 4am every single day (6ish on weekends).
I hope the hotel can figure out some soundproofing, because I feel really bad leaving this review, and would have rated it highly if it wasn't for the sound.
Sadly, the sound issues render it's entire existence as a hotel almost pointless, and they have a strict no-refunds policy which, whilst not abnormal, does feel like it exists because of how many people wanted to get a refund and find a different hotel so they could actually sleep.
