Great hotel with a few caveats.

Excellent location, friendly staff and clean rooms. However, the listing says the rooms are "soundproofed" and they most definitely are not. Also, there is air conditioning but it is controlled by the front desk, so you aren't able to keep the temperature exactly as you'd like it.

Excellent hôtel and outstanding service with a near ideal placement two steps away from the Plaza Mayor. Only drawback is the lack of parking but they offer a Valet service for 17 Euros per day. Other than that a very solid choice and highly recommended hotel.

My second year staying at La Casa Mudejar. Great Experience, with Great Customer Service. The front desk is super helpful & attentive. The rooms were clean, fresh, & comfortable. It’s an older property so I wouldn’t expect the building to be in perfect condition. It was clean and the beds were comfortable but there was no bathroom ventilation and some area of the walls needed repairs. Also extremely difficult to find parking anywhere nearby. Perfect location in heart of beautiful old city.

Location in heart of town is wonderful. The spa is an extra €25 pp and it is unique in that it has old Roman ruin elements in it. It was a self service arrangement where you take yourself from one element to the next (hot showers, colder showers, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room etc). We asked about doing massages or spa services but they said they didn’t have staff that day so we didn’t try that aspect. Didn’t have time to eat any food at this hotel but there are lots of good restaurants nearby. Front desk staff very nice and helpful.

Rooms were clean and personnel was helpful. However we were trying to contact property in advance (via Phone & text) to ask further info about the spa services. Nobody replied and we found out when arrived, that the Massage services were fully booked. Given that we booked Spa property for it´s services - while the price was quite high- this experience was a pretty disappointing.
