Oasis in Sonoma County

Your stay in the idyllic Russian River Valley starts with the Barn at Quail Run. A stunning residence set near the Vineyards of Green Valley AVA. Relax and enjoy this secluded property.

Culinary and wine enthusiasts - welcome to the cradle of the slow food movement and family owned wineries. Our kitchen is the highlight at the Barn with Viking appliances and a dramatic Heath tile backdrop.

Quiet, parklike setting with families of quail, deer, foxes and a variety of birds abound. Easy access to the Joe Rodata bike trail and wineries throughout the area. Green Valley AVA is the most desirable pinot noir area in California and only 5 minutes from the quaint town of Sebastopol (imagine Healdsburg 20 years ago) with plenty of parking, shopping and restaurants.

The barn at Quail Run allows many areas to relax and entertain during your stay including:
- Bedrooms
- Three bedrooms: two with king sized beds, new mattresses, TVs and robes for your comfort. One bedroom with two twin beds. The third living area is private and has a king size sofa, bed.
- Bathrooms - ensuite and adjacent bathrooms with showers and hair dryers

- Game room/theater room - for board and card games with plenty of seating, a game table and a projector/Firestick and screen for a theater experience

We had a lovely stay. Our family had plenty of room to gather and cook. The property is also close to some great wineries. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful spot in Sonoma
We had a lovely time. The property was great, very flexible - it met our needs as a small family with a little one but would also be great for a large group. Spotting the bob cat hunting while we dined was a highlight on the first evening and when we were hoping she might return we spotted a fox the following morning. A very peaceful yet well connected spot to spend some time relaxing. Thank you for sharing this place with us.

Beautiful, private house perfect for our girl's weekend.
This house couldn't have been more perfect! Six women spent 5 days there and every one of them absolutely loved the house. It had everything we needed and things we didn't know we needed, like fun card games and cozy robes. The house and all the finishings are beautiful. It's decorated so well and it is so comfortable. Plenty of seating areas for groups to hang out inside and outside. Great kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. I can't say enough about this house. It was a highlight of our trip.

A Great Place to Stay
I would highly recommend staying at The Barn!! It was absolutely beautiful!! Well decorated rustic modern farm decor. Tucked away in a quiet area where you can enjoy watching deer graze within feet of the house. Yet was located just minutes. away from stores where you can purchase groceries to exercise your culinary skills to make wonderful meals in the well-equipped amazing kitchen. This is a place you will want come back to year after year!

Beyond Expectations
This was such a great place. Its big and airy and bright, well decorated and private. Its a great location; close to town and Osmosis spa in Freestone is just 11 minutes away. It was a pleasant surprise that they have a level 2 EV charger.

This place is great. We will come back for sure.
We stayed over New Year’s for four nights. The Barn at QR has it all. We ate out twice and cooked twice. The barn has a GREAT kitchen with all the cookware and items needed. The outside entertaining areas are beautiful, unfortunately we dealt with a lot of rain and did not take full advantage of all there is to offer. We’ve been going to wine country on both the Sonoma and Napa side for 15 years and will be sure to return when we want spending time cooking or relaxing privately outdoors to be part of the experience. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into the guest experience! Well done.
