Nice but....

Check-in a bit difficult for relatively new(?) but gracious desk clerk. Long, long hallways, great breakfast, and room. If you have physical limitations, ask specifics about room location....very long hallways!

Excellent hotel, but difficult to find.

Clean and comfortable room with helpful staff. Seattle is a difficult city to navigate in and staff was very helpful to us finding the hotel.

nice close to restaurants and shopping

within walking distance of the village which has lots of shopping and restaurants..and short drive to northgate mall.. free parking and breakfast were great.. we will be back!!

they have sausages, omelette, 3 different cereals to go with milk, selection of muffins and breads with honey-jam-cream cheese (tiny packages), 2 types of yogurt (one is danon, without sugar, starches and other things that should not be in yogurt); oranges, apples, bananas; selection of teas; orange and apple juice. sausages are a little bit too salty, but i saw some people didnt really mind and consumed tonns of it. and the highlight is the waffle maker in the breakfast room - you can make your own waffles, original or blueberry. really fun - i've never made waffles before, so it was a fun experience for me. they also have a pool and hot tub, but I didnt have time to go in the evening. during breakfast it looked very shallow and busy, it was full of small kids, screaming and running from hot tub to the pool and back.

Nice place to stay in the university district.

Hotel staff was pleasant to deal with, the room was clean and comfortable, the indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained. We checked in just after the PSU mens tennis team and just before a college basketball team - no nose issues at all. This was my second time staying at a Silver Cloud Inn and was very satisfied both times.

Great hotel in the university area

Very pleasant hotel with free parking and a real breakfast. The room was very clean, good quality furnishings, and quiet. A hot breakfast is provided with a good selection of items that seemed high quality. Well equipped exercise faciity is provided. There are several dining options in the immediate area (University Village). The negatives: It took a few trials to learn the best way to drive there. It isn't in the center of the action of the U district though the stadium is within walking distance. Downtown is about 10 minutes by car.

The hotel staff were most gracious and friendly. We had 2 issues of our own making (couldn't figure out the TV & plugged toilet). The friendly maintenance staff was immediatley dispatched to help us.

Silver Cloud Inn University - Exceptional Staff

This was my first trip to Seattle and my time was limited. The staff was so helpful and accomodating after I shared my goals for my trip. They helped me put together an agenda to help me maximize the time I had there. They personally made the calls and contacts for me and helped to arrange and provide for transportation. Their own shuttle service was extremely helpful. I felt so well taken care of! My first experience in discovering and enjoying Seattle was definitely enhanced by their efforts. Would definitely stay there again...great amenities and wonderful continental breakfast!

University Village Seattle hotel

I've stayed here many times when visiting the University of Washington and never been disappointed. Excellent service, staff are really helpful and pleasant. Great to be able to amble to Barnes and Noble for an evening hot chocolate and browse through the books then back to the hotel hot tub before bed. Beds are the most comfortable I've come across in any hotel.

Rainy night with police

Arrived in the rain, late. 2 police cruiser were out front with their engines running. Turns out they were getting coffee. Comfortable room, good beds. Quiet and cool. Breakfast was good. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. The location is walking distance to UW. Parking was ok, but very full.

I expected a little more luxury for the price tendered. Bed was very uncomfortable and the small loveseat in the room provided very little comfort. People were helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was adequate. it was a 2star motel with a three star price.

Good Hotel colsest to U of W

My favorie Hotel to stay while working at the U of W, Nantechnology Lab. Sadly getting more expensive every time I book it. But it still is great hotel with a wonderfully warm swimming pool and a decent Hot tub. Has an OK free breakfaast (seems to always be scrambled eggs and sausage as the hot dish) but has U-make-It waffles and ceral and muffins and fruit.

The Silver Cloud by UW Seatte was perfect

I was having a costmetic skin procedure at a clinic 1/2 mile away and the hotel had a free shuttle service that met my needs completely, no extra expense for a taxi. I loved being within walking distance to the shops and restaurants right in U Village. The stay was great and an added bonus of a good breakfast-free. Staff was friendly and helpful. Yes I would stay here again.

A truly wonderful experience!

This hotel is very comfortable in every way. The bed was fabulous. The free breakfast is served on "real" plates with "real" silverward. The staff was extremely helpful & pleasant. The free shuttle service was a wonderful surprise.
