The home itself was comfortable and cozy with all of our basic necessities. When we needed to adjust our reservation last minute, the host was friendly and flexible and worked with our needs. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for an opportunity to get away!

Perfect little getaway home!

We really enjoyed our short visit to Searcy, AR because of this home. It was clean and well maintained. It was perfect size for the two couples that were in our travel party. We didn't feel cramped at all. The views were gorgeous! We felt like we were on a mountain getaway! The only downside of the home was not having a TV in both bedrooms if you need the TV noise to sleep like we all did. It is also on a pretty rough gravel/dirt road that at some points is only for one vehicle the closer to the property that you get. It was pretty hard on my poor Camry but we made it!

Cozy, peaceful, getaway

This was a cozy getaway location that gave a great calmness and sense of peace to our small crew while down for our Grandmother’s funeral. We did have a plumbing leak under the bathroom sink when we arrived. The property manager was contacted and promptly responded to our concern. The property owners came out and fixed the problem that night while we were out with family. The beds were comfy and were much appreciated and welcomed after a long drive from Northern Indiana. The only concerned we had with the beds was that there weren’t any actual sheets on them, which was confusing, but we made it work. Some of the pictures are a bit misleading as the Lake Barnett access with the boat launch and fishing dock isn’t actually accessible from the property like we were thinking by looking at the pictures. There is access to the lake at the bottom of the ravine to the property, but not accessible for someone who isn’t physically fit or pregnant in our case. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a quiet getaway to reflect and find some peace and quiet from the real world or a place to stay that took us down memory lane while there because it was close to our old stomping grounds when we would come down to Grandma and Grandpa’s as kids.
