New 4-star apartment in Schmalkalden: top view, winter garden & roof terrace

Enjoy the fantastic view from the heated winter garden and from the roof terrace, which belongs entirely to the apartment, to the scenery of the pretty town of Schmalkalden with the Wilhelmsburg as a landmark. And yet you are only 10 minutes in the center with meticulously restored half-timbered houses and the late medieval ambience.

To our about 75 m2 fairly generously sized Non smoking apartment (in the 1. Floor) is a second small bedroom with a French bed (1.40 m wide) and a second small bathroom with shower and toilet, which is quite useful for the maximum occupancy of four people.

The location close to the Mommelstein cycle path and enjoy a relaxing bike rides, hikes and walks. We provide our own bike tours to the visitors of our website with detailed route descriptions as well as with many photos and exact GPS maps - as well as the pictorial descriptions to the most important sights of the half-timbered town Schmalkalden. (just search the net for HOLIDAY HOMES TROLLMANN SCHMALKALDEN)

The brand kitchen with seating for four people includes a fridge-freezer, an electric cooker with ceramic hob, a coffee maker, a microwave and other common kitchen appliances and a dishwasher.

The master bedroom is next to the double bed and a desk.

The living room has a sitting area with relaxation function and a small in-house library with thrillers, thrillers and children's and youth literature.

Because of the beautiful views, most guests spend their time, however, in the conservatory, where we have therefore also placed the flat screen TV with DVD player.

The roof terrace is accessible from the outside via a sturdy steel staircase. The climb is worth it for sure. Just as in the garden with a lawn and a covered terrace (smoking island) you are up here, four folding chair with new seat covers are available. You could leave again roam on this wind-protected platform, for example, after an eventful day trip always looking to the Rennsteig and enjoy the 180 ° panoramic view of the mountains of the Thuringian Forest.

Our apartment was renovated until April 2017 and is in very good condition.

We are proud that we are already one month after the opening of the German Tourism Association e. V. were classified as a 4 star apartment. The fulfillment of the very strict criteria is an incentive and an obligation at the same time, in order to continue to offer services that are not self-evident in the future without extra charge.

We decided, not with the statement "pets on request" herumzueiern, but our non-smoking apartment basically not for pets release, because tourists with dog hair or cat hair allergy should have the certainty that in this regard in their holiday accommodation no nasty surprises have expected.
Our new high pile carpet in the conservatory would be the purest paradise for such legacies :-)

A very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped holiday home, and Ulf was a wonderful host!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Schmalkalden, and Ulf could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful both before, during and after our trip. This included picking us up from the station, and taking us there on leaving, as we were travelling by public transport. The apartment is in very good condition, appeared to have been recently decorated and was equipped with every modern facility you could need. We particularly enjoyed the sun-lounge, where we could relax and watch the sun go down. Ulf also supplied detailed information about the town and possible walks and activities. The little town itself is charming and interesting, and set in lovely countryside.

Wohlfühlen in Schmalkalden
Meine Frau und ich hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Schmalkalden. Dazu beigetragen hat auch der warmherzige Empfang durch den Vermieter Ulf Trollmann und seine guten Tips. Die Wohnung ist prima, der Ausblick auf die Altstadt von Schmalkalden phantastisch -Schloss Wilhelmsburg direkt im Blick! Und die Ausguckplattform haben wir abends oft genutzt. Der Ort eignet sich gut als Start für Ausflüge nach Eisenach, Meinigen, Weimar, Arnstadt und in die schöne Natur. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit fantastischem Ausblick
Wir waren für 5 Nächte in der Wohnung und sehr zufrieden. Der Vermieter war äußerst zuvorkommend und die Wohnung selbst ist wirklich gut. Der Blick über die Stadt ist ein Traum und die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir kommen garantiert wieder hierher.

Ferienwohnung auch für Studenten geeignet
Die sehr großzügig geschnittene Ferienwohnung ist durchweg gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet und das WLAN ist auch sehr gut. In der Altstadt ist man in weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß angelangt. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze (Garage + Stellplatz), sodass auch mehrere Personen mit Auto anreisen können. Die Hochschule Schmalkalden ist mit Auto in weniger als 5 Minuten zu erreichen, sodass für duale Studenten am Wochenende die Ferienwohnung super genutzt werden kann.

Tolle Ferienwohnung, Superausblick und sehr freundlicher Empfang
Wir hatten drei sehr schöne Tage in der Ferienwohnung mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt Schmalkalden. Herr Trollmann hat uns sehr nett empfangen und gab uns gleich noch ein paar Tipps für Sehenswertes und Kulinarisches. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen sehr gern wieder.
