The apartment was not as listed. It was grubby and in serious need of updating. No instructions on how to use anything. No safety equipment such as a fire alarm, fire blanket etc. on arrival the WiFi and tv were not working and the cooker wasn’t. I contacted the owner who ignored me. I contacted vrbo who were responsive. We spent 4 days of our holiday waiting in for things to be fixed. On the 3rd day the cooker blew up and all the gas emptied out of the cylinder through the 4 hobs into the room. If we had been out and lit anything upon our return the whole place would have blown up. On contacting the owner he intimated we had caused the issues with the cooker, WiFi and tv, as there was nothing wrong with any of them prior to us arriving. We were then told by his staff that they reported to him 6 months previously that there was a manufacturing fault with the cooker and they had been recalled due to the danger. They also informed us that previous guests had complained. So the owner did not take any responsibility and in fact tried to blame us, lying to our faces in the process. There were also dead insects in every wall light fitting. Aircon unit in main bedroom was also broke and stopped large amounts of water all over the floor which again was a health and safety issue.
