Perfect Location

The house was perfectly located between Tybee Island and downtown Savanah. The house was clean and located in a great neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Savanah.

In town for kids’ competition

We took the opportunity to use one of our kids’ competitions to have a long weekend in Savannah. The house was great! Not too far from anything and close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was pretty clean and very convenient to all of Savannah's surroundings! The owner was responsive to our concerns/questions. One thing to note is that there are two rental spaces (one upper, one lower) within the home. As such, the driveway is shared, but it is decently long. Steps are required to access the living space(s). We would stay here again!

The house was in a neighborhood that wasnt thrilled we were there. The house was basically clean with minor things like hairs on the bathroom counter. The bottom unit tenants were not the friendliest.

Ok for the price.

A handyman's dream. The place was clean but found the kitchen could have been better stocked. Many little things in need of repair, but when the property is up for sale, I guess the owner would not be interested in fixing it. It's advertised with 2 queen beds, but actually has 1 queen and 1 full. I have been at many other VRBOs that were much nicer. Nice neighborhood, but did not feel welcome with all the signs that stated "no vacation rentals in our neighborhood"

The property was not cleaned upon arrival. No linens on beds or towels. When reaching out to property manager, accommodations were made to stay downstairs while upstairs unit was cleaned and stocked. Apparently the check in instructions were sent from evolve so reached out to corporate number to receive check in instructions. Received code for first door, then had to call back to get door code for second door. There are several signs in the neighborhood that state “No vacation rental in our neighborhood” including the neighbor. The ac did not work.

Not a great experience overall

As we pulled up to the residence, there were signs everywhere (including one right on the lawn) that said “no rental properties in our neighborhood” so it was clear that we were not welcomed. The first night we arrived, the smoke detecter was beeping so we had to go out and buy our own batteries to replace them. The owner said he would reimburse us but still hasn’t. The property has almost nothing when it comes to basic needs such as cooking items. The house is up for sale and they have listings when there are no tenants as rentals. I could go on and on but overall it was just not a great experience at all.

Disappointing Stay — Property and Neighborhood Issues

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The property was not properly cleaned when we arrived — the floors, beds, and bathrooms were dirty, and there was animal hair inside the washing machine. One bathroom had no hot water, making it unusable. Although housekeeping was sent, they were dismissive and the property manager did not respond to any further attempts to contact them.Additionally, the neighborhood was not welcoming to vacation renters. There were several signs posted against short-term rentals, and we experienced negative reactions from some neighboring homeowners, which made our stay uncomfortable.Given the condition of the home, the lack of support, and the atmosphere in the area, this experience fell far short of what we expected from VRBO and Evolve.

Weekend Getaway

4 adults to Savannah for the weekend. Location is great. Close to the river front and convenience to Tybee Island. House was clean. Beds comfortable. Plenty of room for cooking and socializing. Caution: this house is actually listed for sale. The neighborhood is nice but they are NOT happy to have a vacation rental in the neighborhood. There are signs in a majority of yards staing ‘NO vacation rentals in our neighborhood’ The outside areas need some TLC. Appears no one has looked at the backyard, furniture, tiki bar, grill, etc in many months. There are no casserole or baking pans at all in the kitchen. There is an air fryer and Keurig coffee maker. We had to go buy foil in order to cook anything in the oven. The person listed as the local contact is not useful at all We actually tried to contact him in regards to the lower unit many times. Follow through was awful So..if you are looking for a decent priced space for 4-6 people to mainly sleep, this is your spot. The outdoor pictures are NOT accurate. We would possibly stay here again.
