Quiet with beautiful lake views & modern rooms.

This was our second time staying at the Lake Shore Resort, the first time staying in cooler Autumn weather. The setting is beautiful, a modernized mid-century motel building with it's back to a small forest, and an amazing view of Lake Michigan in front. As during our first stay in 2018, our room was very clean and still looked like new. I expected the room to feel chilly due to the autumn weather, but the heating worked very well. Due to the pandemic, breakfast was delivered to our room each morning.

Beautiful place to chill out

Such a beautiful location. The resort was very quiet and laid back. It appeared to be recently renovated. Bathroom was nice but had very little counter space. The grounds were wonderful and we would have used the bikes had the weather cooperated. We moved from room 25 to 22 when we decided to add a night and it was much more spacious. The front desk was very helpful in finding us a second room. the only complaint with first room was that it was too warm at night and no bathroom counter. Would stay here again.

The property is exquisitely landscaped and maintained. It really is an old fashioned motel; however, it is well maintained. It is quiet and peaceful and the views are lovely. The decks overlooking the lake required two stories of stairs and there was not beach. I would return for a very specific quiet time.

Lake Shore Resort-Hidden Gem

Lake Shore resort is a hidden gem!! We enjoyed our stay immensely, every room has a view of Lake Michigan. The resort has complimentary bikes, putt put golf, fire pits and a pool. We will definitely be back for future occasions.
