We love the location and the units. It’s not a high rise so you don’t park in a huge parking lot far away from where you are staying. It’s a few steps from the beach. The rooms are updated with new appliances and furnishings. I use to stay here in the 70’s. We love having a kitchen and also a short drive to grocery stores and other places to shop and explore. Beach chairs and beach pull carts are available. All units have screen porches.

The stay was great but I do have a few suggestions. Being that it’s a really small studio you could open up more space by removing those large lamps and adding lights on the walls. It’s super dark in there. I’d remove this stools as they really just take up space. I’d also remove the table and chairs and add a small pub type table w small stools. If a small sink could be added in that empty space on the wall by the counter that would be a huge bonus. I didn’t notice when I booked the place there wasn’t a sink. Also the exhaust vent in the bathroom is really dirty. All and all it went well but I’d probably go with something a little bigger next time with some natural light.

Very basic room

The rental was very basic and on the inside of the complex so there was no view. Being on the first floor, there was a window awning so people couldn't look right in your room but that also meant that you couldn't really see out as well. The complex has a lovely pool and some of the rentals have oceanview. I just wouldn't go back to this one in particular. It was okay for a very short stay.

Quiet little get-a-way

Room was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a quick little stay. Location was perfect and we had our own private beach with never more than 6 people on it at one time! The heated pool was spot on for the chilly nights. This place was quiet and very relaxing. We would definitely book here again!

We loved the kitchy motel vibe. The mattress could of been better. The bath had some mold. The kitchenette didn’t have a sink so we used the bathroom sink. I realize it is an older motel. We loved the pool, mini golf & of course that beautiful beach.

Nice grounds and pool, million dollar beach

Great location on Longboat Key in a quieter stretch of the island. Property has direct beach access with lounge chairs and a well-maintained heated pool and terrace. Guests were a mix of older couples and younger families. Margaret in the office kept the public areas tidy and made great conversation. My unit was one of the smaller single rooms, compact but adequate. Other units had full kitchens and screened porches, and many guests return each year. The parking lot was stones rather than impermeable surface, great for drainage but requiring extra care when walking.

Property was perfectly located on north longboat key with a beautiful white Sand beach . All amenities were exactly what was given. Unit was clean and well stocked with linens etc. Office staff was also very courteous & helpful. Would book again😊
