Four kayaks, a canoe, paddle board, fishing gear, and water toys are stored at the boathouse. The boathouse deck is also the perfect spot for a quiet cup of morning coffee where you’ll watch the mist rise before the sun’s rays begin to glisten on the lake.
The expansive and level lawn, rarely obtainable in the Adirondacks, overlooks the lake and is perfect for sports or just relaxing and admiring the expansive views. Badminton, croquet, and horseshoes can be set up in the spacious green yard.
Step inside the 5000 square-foot house and be impressed by authentic architectural details, high ceilings, wood paneled walls, comfortable furnishings, and views of the lake and woods throughout. The home offers 3 separate living areas, 2 with masonry fireplaces and one with a 65-inch Smart TV.

memorable family vacation
My family had a wonderful stay in this lovely home on Saranac Lake. The house is spacious, comfortable and quite beautiful. We rarely left the property as everything we needed was available there!Early mornings were spent on the back porch watching the hummingbirds and butterflies visiting the flower garden. The rest of the day was spent swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We took full advantage of the lovely kitchen - and of the games in the game cabinet. The local eagle was spotted. Loons appreciated, as well as a pair of bluebirds. We can enthusiastically recommend this property.
This property is absolutely amazing. It has everything... a beautiful home, ultra modern kitchen, canoes and kayaks, and a huge waterfront property. The historic restoration is amazing, stunning and every room is oversized. The 400' of sandy bottom waterfront with crystal clear water was spectacular.
We took our whole family to celebrate our 50th anniversary, and kids from 5 to 15 had a blast. We rented a Sunfish and power boat, cooked marshmallows at the fire pit, and enjoy cocktails while sitting in Adirondack chairs gazing across 3 miles of lake to distant mountains. Saw the Milky Way at night, and saw and listened to loons.
Property manage was always helpful and our only regret is that we only rented this piece of history for a week.
Fantastic, beautifully restored Great Camp with everything one could want for an Upper Saranac Lake vacation. Large bedrooms, modern bathrooms, extensive kitchen, multiple living room areas, including a “great room” with fireplace. Outside fire pit which we used most evenings, dock for you boat, boathouse with kayaks and paddle boards, etc. And those wonderful decks both upstairs and down for spectacular lake views.
We had a great time with our family. Thanks to the owner for an easy, efficient rental process! 5 Stars across the board!
Lady Tree is a large, stately old camp, beautifully and recently redone by the owners. The house is clean and airy with lots of large windows and the kitchen is large and open. There are a lot of outdoor spaces to sit and relax, but we spent most of the time on the porch or the dock. The water is about 3 or 4 feet near the dock and drops off further out. We rented a boat for the week and had no trouble docking it. We are already planning our return for next year.
This property is absolutely amazing. The house is gorgeous and in absolutely pristine condition. The property has everything there is to do and more - relax on the dock taking in the gorgeous view, swim in the clear and warm lake, kayak, canoe or paddle board around the lake, play lawn games with your family, or enjoy a cocktail on one of the covered porches. We did all of those things and more and loved every minute of it.
This place is great. We had a splendid weekend. The location, lake front view, style, huge size and convenience of check-in / communication were just wonderful. I would stay again any time. Thank you very much!!!

Stunning, well appointed, history steeped home on the perfect Adirondack lake
This is our 4th trip to the Adirondacks from Los Angeles and our 2nd to Upper Saranac Lake. Having "looked around" a bit, I can unequivocally say- this spectacular home sets the GOLD Standard for location, amenities, and the immersive Adirondack experience. The unique furnishings, the artwork, and the quality appointments make you feel as if you stepped back a century, yet the home does not feel like a museum at all; every room is very warm and inviting. The kitchen is so well appointed, it makes it fun to cook on vacation. :) All of the appliances are new, top quality. The grounds are incredible, including an expansive lawn, a great fire pit- barbecue grill area, and a "hidden" boathouse. A pair of loons hang out just beyond the dock; their iconic calls provide the perfect soundtrack for sunrises and sunsets. The various bird feeders on the property attract colorful songbirds and local fauna. The Upper Saranac Lake water is crystal clear and surprisingly warm in Summer (thanks to being relatively shallow) - but I think one of my fave things is the lake out front. I've rented several lakefront vacation homes in various states. This is the first lake home I've ever rented that has 400 feet of sandy shoreline. No squishy mud between your toes. None. Perfect for guests of all ages. The kayaks and the canoe are top quality (and boy did we use them!) . The beds are extremely comfortable with top quality linens. The area offers great day hikes and some cool culinary treats like the famous Donnelly's ice cream and the nearby Traders Post - a general store that offers the most delicious doughnuts and scones - IF you get there early enough in the morning before they sell out. All of these elements combined, make Lady Tree Lodge the quintessential Adirondack experience. We love this home so much, we're already plotting our return.

A Great GREAT CAMP
Lady Tree lodge is a restored Great Camp on Upper Saranac lake. The accommodations and amenities are first class with every thing you need to enjoy your stay. The view of the lake and mountains is breathtaking. Just remember the lodge does not have air conditioning but because of its location on the lake and the large number of windows it does not need it. I have rented many homes in the Adirondacks on many different lakes and this is the best rental I have stayed at.

Perfect Adirondack Experience
WOW! Lady Tree exceeded my expectations. It was beautifully decorated with ample room to accommodate my family. 10 of us were in the house for a reunion, without feeling like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was unbelievable. The views were breathtaking, both from the house and boat dock. The location offered something for everyone, ranging from 2 to 77 yo. Some people decided to just stay at the house, swim, boat, and relax, while others went hiking and explored Lake Placid. We are able to eat together in the evenings and watch the sun set over Saranac Lake. Everyone keeps asking me when we're coming back!

Great Adirondack Vacation!
As a family of avid hikers we chose to vacation in the Adirondacks because of all the hiking opportunities. This house was the perfect choice. Not only is it close to the mountains, it is an unbelievably Adirondack story-book home. There was plenty of room for our extended family, brothers, sisters and our children. Lots of bedrooms with comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and ample family rooms. The kitchen is amazing and we absolutley loved the big famliy style dining table. The house is spotless and the owners have impeccable taste in decor. We loved hanging out on the dock after our morning hikes and enjoying lunch on the front porch. And when one of us needed a little quiet time the porch on the boat house was a perfect place to look out on the lake. This house is an historic treasure. We'll be back for sure!

Inspiring escape, pure bliss
4 of my friends and I gathered at Lady Tree for a friendship retreat. Lady tree was the perfect location as it allowed us our space when we wanted it and the blissful coziness of sitting by the fire together at night after a long hike. The kitchen is off the charts!! We cooked each night and loved the fact that the environment was more spectacular than any restaurant.... water view, peaceful lighting and positive energy. It was truly one of the most memorable moments of my life... a perfect 10 in every way!

THE PERFECT ADIRONDACK LODGE!
Oh.....did you say you are looking for the perfect Adirondack lodge to get away in this summer? Look no further, this is the spot!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Lady Tree Lodge. It is spectacular, with a million dollar view that belongs only to you. The home is perfection. Elegantly appointed with classy Adirondack decor, no little bear or loon statues here. Aside from being newly renovated the kitchen is well stocked, (we are all about the cooking), with all you will need to create gourmet dinners that you can enjoy overlooking the lake. The living space is warm and elegant at the same time. The bedrooms, all I need to say is Views! The upper porch was my favorite place for having my fresh morning coffee. The beds and bedding, again are the perfect Adirondack decor. The provenance of the home adds even more aura to your stay. Needless to say it is spotlessly clean.
Of course the surrounding area and town of Saranac are loaded with things to do all year. You are a hop skip and a jump away from some of the best skiing in the east. We were two families with 3 teens each. The kids were kept quite entertained which is not an easy feat! The dock was the perfect foil to their social media habits. Late night dips under the stars and open fires with s'mores really made this place feel like we were in a movie.
The owners were friendly and accessible to answer any questions we had. Although we were there in the warm weather I can only imagine how glorious it will be in the fall and winter.
What are you waiting for? Book this place now before you loose your date. I promise you will not be sorry!
