Great layout and location. Bedding was comfortable. Driveway is steep but manageable. Lots of stairs within the home if you are taking advantage of the upstairs and downstairs bedroom options. The downstairs shower leaked the first time we used it and after the property manager sent out a tech, it was unable to be used again while we were there which was a little frustrating. Also minor electrical issues that were also addressed promptly while we were there. The large stream in backyard was beautiful from cabin, but noting that it slightly hard to access due to underbrush and elevation. Our daughters (10 an 12) were still able to play in it and explore by themselves. Cabin is within 20-30 mins of several great hikes and swimming holes, It's 10 mins to Fairfield Lake - which we took dogs to to swim several times. There are several good restaurants close by (Casa Amigos is closest and was really good). Ingles (grocery) was 20 mins away. The cabin is a bit dark but because you are in the forest...so it feels like a treehouse, which we did not mind. We were lucky enough to spot a mama bear and her two cubs on a different property within the neighborhood.

It was great, very comfortable townhome in a great location. Could’ve provided a few more utensils, very basic. Extremely dated tvs with very little channels for children, no ability connect the tvs in either bedrooms to our apps I.e. Netflix. Amenities center workers including Cotton and an older woman at the desk need help with their manners as many others told us as well. Cotton yelled at my children for sitting on the hot tub deck insisting he told them at the desk when I was the only one there. I was in the sauna and didn’t realize they had, we had words about his demeanor and how he talks to people. The older lady behind the desk could care less to be there. We checked in asked for towels and instead she got up to talk to another employee giving me the wait finger. Towels had been right below her. Later we went to buy drinks and she said give her a couple minutes as she ate mashed potatoes at the desk, another lady got up and helped.
