Nice atmosphere, nice view and nice food

The environment was well taken care of by a lot of plants and pool side benches, nice pool with good night lighting. Room was big, clean and well designed.

Worst hotel ever!!!

Room description and photos did NOT match at all...they probably gave us the worst room available in the hotel... the room was very small.. full of some weird smell... the bathroom was small and had nothing in it... there was one soap dispenser (which they said was shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all in one) and one hand soap dispenser.. the guy at the reception was very rude.. when we told him that the room is not nice. he started pretending he does not understand what we are saying.. up until that time he understood English very well.. check-in was slow and they did not help us with our bags.. even on the stairs and the rocky pathway... i did not want to deal with that especially after a long journey.. The pool was amazing.. the sunset view was amazing.. bar and the bartenders were great.. but would never recommend anyone to stay there.. unless maybe you book a super expensive room with all-inclusive package.. as the staff seemed to be behave nicely with the customers who were all there for all inclusive stay... oh... they also had separate water taps for regular guests and all inclusive guests.. which was mind blowing.. super disappointed with the hotel and the staff

Not what I expected or indeed paid for !

On arrival was told that the hotel had a problem and we would be staying at a sister hotel for 2 nights before coming back to the hotel we actually booked. Booked and paid for a junior suite to be given a double room. When I complained I was told to take it up with the travel company. The hotel staff couldn't care less.. such a disappointment as the hotel and location was superb

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER

I booked this hotel for a reason... they overbook and put me deep on Oia Caldera in a blue claustrophobic cave! The Porter was bagging my expensive luggage all over the place. I try to get help from expedia and they didn't help me in anything I spend a lot of money w roaming call for nothing!

Transferred us to another hotel

They overbook a lot, but they transferred us to Aressana Spa Hotel and Suites in Fira, which is another city. They sent us an email and arranged a shuttle for us, but we were skeptical as the driver didn't know the situation and we (as well as 2 other couples) had not read the email. So despite the confusion, Aressana hotel took care of us very well and had an excellent breakfast and room.

Amazing property and rooms.. but no privacy in jetted tub Except for that everything was just perfect 10 minute drive from the city centre Fira but that's a fun drive Amazing staff and service. Beautiful pool. Private beach and very quiet.

Nice Hotel but Poor Management Team!

The hotel overall is good, but not great. Hotel's design, construction and the beach is nice. Unfortunately they have lousy management team. 1. We booked a Double Bed Room, but we ended up having 2 twin bed joining together, pretending to be a double bed. And the bed split into half in the middle of the night! 2. We booked a shuttle bus from Oia to the hotel, when we purchase the ticket in the morning, we ask where the bus meeting point is, the hotel staff who sells the ticket said he doesn't know.... all he knows is that the bus leaves at 8:30pm. So we asked the bus driver (not sure if he understands English or not), but at the end no one tells us where to find the bus. So we decided to head out early to find the bus at 8:00pm, local residence showed us where the bus usually parked. By 8:15pm, we found the right place and waited for the bus to pick us up. By 8:30pm, the bus still haven't arrived, so we called the hotel, they said the bus have left and they'll send another bus to come and pick us up. (Which the whole situation ended up at 9:30pm). It's frustrating that they do not know where the pick up point is, even more frustrating is that apparently the bus leaves at 8:00pm not 8:30pm. How can you sell us ticket when you don't know when and where the bus will leave!? 3. The manager of the hotel have a car to send you to the airport (5 mins drive) and they charge you 9 euro per person! Overcharge and rip off! 4. No room service!

Great location, newly renovated

We stayed previously at the sister hotel to this one and spent some time here and enjoyed it so stayed again. The room we stayed in was very newly and attractively renovated and very nice although a few minor snags had notbeen ironed out yet. The pool area, bar and restaurant are alsonewly renovated and are nothing short of 5*. The staff are very good as is the food and drink offer. Great location close to kamariand literally right on the beach. Great views and safe for swimming in the sea. Only downside was that although we had booked 7 nights, after we checked in they announced they had no rooms available andso we'd have to stay at one of their sister hotels for the first two nights. We didnt really understand their explanation and i will be separately writing a full complaint to expedia as although the alternative hotel was fine, it was not the renovated superior room we'd booked and the disruption spoilt the first evening and first twodays of our holiday as we couldnt really unpack or settle until we got to the hotel we'd booked.

They have problems with bookings. They took me to another hoteluntil they find a proper room for us and I was informed when I got into the taxi to take me to my "booked" hotel. The other hotel was much much lower to the one I booked. Not even mentioned to give me some money back or maybe a free lunch. A. Beautiful hotel over looking the beach

When i first arrived i was welcomed to a beautiful bright white, palace looking building. I was greeted by the Hotel Receptionist and pleasantly welcomes me to the hotel. Fantastic first impression. I was shown through to my room which was a delightful little 2 bed room with a decent sized balcony, make up table and mirror (i didn't really use this), sofa and coffee table. There was a slight bit of what looked like mould on the wall from some kind of water damage but at the end of the stay I didn't even remember it. As soon as I had unpacked my bags I headed straight down to the pool which was breathtaking. At certain angles the pool looks like it is connected to the ocean and makes for a fantastic picture. The layout of the concrete sunbeds and large light globes are a fantastic touch. The pool bar was very nicely set up with extremely personable staff serving (in-particular a lady called Maria, she made us feel very welcome and from learning our names, used them with out failure. A small but fantastic touch. Breakfast was served in the restaurant which was overlooking the ocean and was full of all sorts of treats. some nutritious and some not so nutritious (which isn't a bad thing). The location is fantastic! it sits about 10 minutes quad bike ride (the hotel have an in house service which offers modern, high powered quad bikes which make for some good fun) away from the main town of Fira. I could keep typing but I have been restricted to 1500 characters. GO TO MBH

I cannot say enough about this hotel. We felt like we were staying with friends! Everyone was friendly, the hotel employed a driver for travelers convenience- he was wonderful! Room space was great! Food was perfect! We were sad to leave.

Only the sea and beach nothing else

Holel is located on a great beach and sea is wonderful. The service is one of the worst I have seen in my life. Front desk is never willing to help or solve any problem you encounter. Thet have forgotten to smile. Room clening is also awful. It is a 4 star hotel but I don't think they deserve this rating. We spent a week at this hotel and were dissapointed how they can waste such a beautiful place with such a bad service. Almost every hotel in Santorini has a service to the port, they even don't have this kind of help.

First time in Santorini you must stay here...

We had such a relaxing great time at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel. Staff were excellent, food excellent, pool excellent and bartenders!! Everyone welcomed us with open arms and gave us so much useful information also the bus driver was very punctual! Great service. I would stay here again! Beautiful room!

Maybe if everything else was full...

If I went to santorini again I would not stay here. It's not a great location there are no restaurants within walking distance. The beach is pretty and the pool area is nice. The bar staff made good drinks. The reception area was very nice which made the room itself seem disappointing. The bathroom was modern but the rest of the room was not. It looked liked the other rooms might have been nicer but we had two rooms booked and the decor was old. We didnt want to stay and relax in our rooms. Breakfast was also not that nice. Perhaps if you got a good room and wanted to unwind by the pool rather than get out and about.

Neu renoviertes Hotel mit tollem Pool, direkt am M

+: Tolle Außenanlage, ganz neu renoviertes Zimmer, nette Mitarbeiter, eigener Hotelstrand, die Nähe zum Flughafen hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. kiosk in 50m o: Essen mal so mal so, Frühstücksbuffet in ordnung aber wenig abwechslungsreich - : die erste nacht mussten wir wegen wasserschaden in das schwesterhotel 100m weiter, das Zimmer dort war keine erwähnung wert. trotz wunsch kein doppelbett sondern 2 einzelbetten. wer pech hat bekommt keines der neu renovierten zimmer.
