We were the very first family to stay in this beautiful, spacious home. While the house has incredible potential for large groups, it was unfortunately listed on VRBO before it was actually completed.For a premium rental costing approximately 5,000 for just two nights, we encountered significant operational issues:Unfinished Pool Amenities: The pool area was the main selling point for our family. While the kids could swim, the fountains, waterfall, jacuzzi jets, and pool lights were completely non-functional.Inoperable Appliances: Neither of the two washing machines worked. Additionally, one of the dishwashers could not open fully because it was installed incorrectly directly in front of the refrigerator.Health & Cleanliness Issues: All provided dishes arrived dirty, requiring eight consecutive dishwasher cycles to clean. More concerningly, the refrigerator water lines were not purged post-installation; the ice was black and the water was cloudy, forcing us to spend our vacation time purging the lines so our children had safe drinking water.Missing Essentials: The kitchen lacked standard essentials, including a coffee pot, cutting boards, and prep knives.The owner has built a stunning property, and once these finishing touches are resolved, it will undoubtedly be a 5-star experience. However, given the premium price we paid for amenities we could not use, the experience fell incredibly short.
