Love this property!

We have stayed at Pete’s Retreat many times. The location on the beach cannot be beat! I noticed the condo needs some attention, minor things such as dishwasher rack needs to be repaired, most hand soap dispensers at sinks are empty, garage light above car is out, towel bar in master bath is not secure…Just small things. I hope the owners addresses the details. It is a great property!Also I mistakenly left a few items that have yet to be returned to me although the property manager said she is sending them.

Perfect spot for the family

We had a great trip and the location of this condo couldn’t be better! Close to everything, but not in the middle of the it, which was the perfect blend for our family. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach. The beach chairs were waiting for us every morning by 7:30 and we utilized them every day, first and last off the beach. We fished every day and had lots of luck catching pompano! Highly recommend this home!

Fall getaway

Right on the beach!

Great property right on the beach.! We have stayed in the townhouse several times and it never disappoints. Owners are very accommodating and easy to work with. It’s hard to find properties like this that are right on beach without being a high rise or very expensive. Already booked next trip here.

Perfect for a young family

We could go on and on about our stay. Absolutely loved the proximity to the beach, beach chair/umbrella set up was super clutch, and access to two pools (especially for the littles). The house was super clean and updated. Great proximity to restaurants and shops. Can't wait to return.

Perfect property-NIGHTMARE PROPERTY OWNER/MANAGER

The condo is perfect. Location is perfect. We have rented it for years and it is home away from home. Until this year when new owners took over. We had a misunderstanding upon check out, which was my fault, but was resolved. If you like to walk on eggshells inside, and spend your last night diligently cleaning the place only to be told (with no pics or proof) you trashed the place, smeared food in the beds, loaded up the condo in sand and brought a pet ( when you didn't) this is the place for you. If you choose this place I recommend you take pics of the condition of the unit when you leave.

Ramsgate never disappoints

The condo was even better than expected. We have stayed in other ramsgate condos before so we knew our stay would be enjoyable. The condo was spotless, well stocked with kitchen gadgets and dry goods, cleaning supplies, etc. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and toilet paper. Washer dryer had detergent and dryer sheets. There were even beach towels. Storage was full of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc but with free beach service, we didn’t need it. But location is the real draw. Right on beach! Only con-and this is simply a sign of the times- nearby public beach access points were closed making our access very popular, thus our little slice of the beach unusually crowded. We enjoyed the crowd but opinions on this vary, especially these days. David and Cindy are gracious hosts. We will be back next year!

Great location @ a fantastic price

We had a wonderful time at this property, especially given its beach front location. Our family stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed watching the sunrises and sunsets from the spacious porch. Everything inside was renovated and the kitchen was particularly well-stocked. The master bathroom has the best shower ever! We loved the convenient location to the beach, we could walk right down the stairs and be immediately at the beach. It’s one of the properties closest to the actual ocean! The property owner was super communicative and check-in was a breeze. One thing to note is that the porch is open and connected to the other town home units, so if you’re looking for total privacy, this might not be the perfect unit. But because this is an end unit, only one side is shared. We couldn’t recommend this beach house more! We’d love to come and stay again.

Beautiful Location

Our family enjoyed our stay at the property over Christmas break. It may have been cold for some but the sunshine and the waves were a great break in reality. We ended up using Instacart to get our groceries delivered on the first day there and cooked most meals at the property. Well stocked kitchen with even a cookie sheet to make a batch of cookies for our families yearly Christmas Cookies and look at Christmas lights tradition! :) Loved being right at the beach and enjoyed walking along looking for seashells after a stormy day with my teenage daugheters. Many good family memories were made. Thanks for opening your home to us!

Gorgeous Ocean Front Unit

This is a beautiful end-unit townhome directly on the water and on a quiet dead-end street. You are on the beach yet convenient to all the communities and activities along 30A. The unit is exactly as pictured and nicely updated. With Covid, most of our meals were at home and we found the kitchen to be well-stocked. We loved having a grill on the deck. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing. The owners are easily accessible and accommodating.
