Flawless

Great spot, easy in and out, safe feeling and close to lots of great places! 98% good! Bikes were rusted and without tires out back….so that was a no go, but we loved every bit of the house and the stay! You will not be disappointed! We will come again.

Dream Vacation

Everything about this property was awesome, from the location to food, shops, and beach. Having the golf cart was a game changer for our trip and we are now spoiled and will never not have one on our beach trips. The house is beautiful, was very clean, and had all the kitchen supplies you could ask for. The only thing we didn't particularly like (but would not stop us from renting this house again) was the air rule of 72 degrees. With the August heat and humidity in FL we got a little hot while sleeping at those temps. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the Santa Rosa Beach area.

Great location and golf cart

Loved this house and its location! The golf cart was wonderful and we could get around to everything we need using it. We didn’t find the top bunks useful for our group because they felt wobbly / unstable, but we really didn’t need them because one room had a trundle bed. We hope to return!

Great House

The house is in great condition and the property manager is quick to respond when needed. The house is clean and very organized (everything is labeled and easy to find). My family will definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

House was beautiful! Cleanest beach property I’ve ever been in. Everything was labeled - light switches, remotes, etc. Not a grain of sand on the floor. Lots of towels and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Front porch with hammock was so nice and peaceful. Loved having the golf cart! Golf cart was absolutely necessary because would have been too far to walk to beach. And great to easily hop on golf cart to grab lunch in neighboring towns. We loved The Perfect Pig and Wine World for lunch. FYI, we brought our own bungee cords to tie down beach chairs to cart, but they even included bungee cords in the seat of the golf cart too. Bikes would have been nice as well though. Description of property is confusing on VRBO because it shows bikes in picture and description, but then at very bottom is says bikes are not included. I inquired beforehand so knew bikes were not included, but may be disappointment to anyone not paying close attention. They would definitely be a good addition. Santa Clara Regional Beach Access not closest public access, but easiest for us because more parking, hoses to wash off sand and restrooms. If beach access parking lot fills up, you can drop off the family and then park across the road. Sweet N Salty was the perfect place for our first trip to 30A!

No bikes as advertised

We loved our vacation and the home was beautiful- it suited our needs wonderfully. This being our first trip to seaside we were unprepared for no beach parking - there were 9 of us and an infant - the first 2 days our son had to drop us all at the beach take the car back to the house and walk the 15 minutes back to the beach and do the reverse at the end of the day. The rams gate beach access had no access to restrooms that we could find and the beach service and chairs blocked all views of the ocean. On the third day we found public parking and beach access just a short drive up the road with restrooms and no beach service. So much nicer The rental was advertised come hop on our 4 beach cruiser bicycles-when we ask for the combination for the lock we were told no bikes included with this property ??? Bikes are a must in seaside for our teens and adults. We will be back to seaside.

Exceeded expectations

We had the best time at sweet n salty! Our family of 6 had more than enough room. The kitchen was fully stocked well, the house was so clean, everything was labeled. The neighborhood is gorgeous and our kids loved the heated neighborhood pool, great location, and having access to the golf cart and bikes provided our family with easy transportation to explore 30A. We would def come back to stay here.

Beautiful house and great location!

The house is beautiful and in a great location. We were able to move around biking everywhere. The beach is 5 minutes bike ride and we had local restaurants at walking distance or a short bike ride. The beach was not crowded which was perfect with the COVID-19 situation. The house included everything we needed from bikes to a full equipped kitchen, grill outside and very comfortable set up. Loved it! We will be back!

Vacation home

We REALLY enjoyed our stay at this property!! They have thought of everything. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for daily use, even had taco plates & kid cups. This house has plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels and a beach mat. There is even a grill to use outside. Even though we came in winter the community pool was heated and the kids were still able to swim. Liked having 2 masters. The neighborhood was great, kids enjoyed riding bikes around. Thanks for a great experience, we will be back!

Great spring break

This is a beautiful home, the decor is spot on for a beach house. It's in a great spot, just off the main drag, so its quiet and super easy to ride bikes to the beach, which was not super busy and one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen with the white powder sugar beaches and emerald to Caribbean blues water. It's in the "not so busy" area, which makes it perfect! U can ride bikes either way and find great food and shops. Very safe area. We appreciated how the owners allow you to use their bikes so u do not have to rent them, a nice added bonus. Community pool is very nice and not far from house. John is super easy to work with and responds very quickly. The home has everything u need.. just bring yourself and suits :)

Great home right in the middle of 30A

We have stayed along 30A for four summers now in different locations, and Seagrove is right in the middle which makes for great access to all the neighboring beach towns. Seagrove itself has many great restaurants and of course beautiful beaches, but it's also a quick drive or bike ride to Seaside, Watercolor, The Hub and so much more. The house is decorated very nicely and has lots of amenities. The owners are wonderful to work with and so incredibly friendly that I feel like I've known Ande for years. The beach access from the home was a quick golf cart ride and we never had problems parking at the beach access. My younger daughters absolutely loved the coastal dune lake and actually preferred playing in the lake rather than the ocean. My older daughter, along with myself, loved relaxing on the beach and playing in the surf. It was a perfect beach access point to please all the members of the family.

Fabulous house and vacation!

Sweet N Salty is a gorgeous home in a brand-new, quiet neighborhood with a lovely (and very warm) swimming pool. It was PERFECT for our family of parents, young adult children, and toddler granddaughter. We really enjoyed riding bicycles to the beach, which was an easy, quick trip. The location with the lake adjacent to the beach was great for our toddler to play! Only downside is that if taking chairs, umbrellas, etc. that can't be carried easily on bikes need to drive--limited parking available. However we were always able to find close-by parking even at busy times. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well supplied. I can't imagine anyone not loving this home!

Beautiful Home

We had two families stay (total 11 people) - Bedrooms were great! The one with the twin/full bunk and a trundle underneath, it is not a full full size trundle (somewhere between a twin and a full size - fit two smaller kids fine) and it wasn't the most comfortable bed (after first night we shifted and put younger kids on it and they were fine). Lots of space throughout the house! If traveling with kids or like to take more than a simple towel and bag to beach plan to drive - this is really the only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5. We are still at the point where we have boogie boards, sand toys, a tent, etc... thankfully we had a pickup truck and could just throw everything in and loaded the kids (with adults) in the back and made the quick trip to the beach. Beach where lake and ocean meet is PERFECT for families (especially with small kids as it allows them to play in water without getting knocked down with waves all the time)! Overall an incredible place and vacation spot!!! Will definitely keep bookmarked for future visits!!!
