Location and Charm

This property was awesome. It is close to the square which was amazing. Outdoor showers, great rooms and bonus spaces to enjoy and a widows peak to watch the sunrise or sunset.

Conveniently located near shops, amphitheater, deli, food trucks and our favorite gelato place! Semolina Circle is pretty busy so we used back streets for biking and getting to pools and restaurants. Wonderful weather and clear, beautiful water for good times on the beach!

There was also enough seating for everyone to visit. It wasn't on the quietest street in Seaside but it was within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and the beach. We enjoyed eating ate Great Southern, Pickles and the pizza place. Also the food trailers were amazing! Would definitely recommend this home, matter of fact we have it rented for next year!

Great Experience - only one glitch

The kids especially enjoyed going up to the tower to look out over Seaside! The only problem we encountered was that the internet was out - so that meant no WIFI or t.v. until our stay was half over. But we were told that the line had been cut for some reason, and it was repaired. We do not blame Homeowner's Collection OR the owner for this, and we were compensated for the inconvenience. Overall was a good experience, and we would stay in this home again!

Great location but house in need of repairs

THe location of the house was wonderful; very close to the beach and food trucks. The house is needing a lot of repair. The front gate to the house is broken, the doors in the house are difficult to close, the floors in the kitchen are in desperate need of being redone. We love to cook while we are at the beach but had alot of difficulty utilizng the stovetop. The surface of the house was clean but the drawers in the master bathroom had hair in the drawers. The house is in need of repairs. The parking lot is a disaster and wasn't told about the parking fees. In the past, we were able to park in the parking lot without issues. We looked past alot of these issues because we enjoy our trips to the beach!

This time there was considerable mold on the ceilings and in the bathrooms. Food and drink remains were on the screened porch furniture. Spiders and spider webs were everywhere. Kitchen faucet was broken and so was the ice maker. And the oven does not work. I realize this house is older, but these things are easy to fix. Please make this right for the next renter.

Location, Location, Location

I want to start by saying that after we booked this property, we read several negative reviews. I was very concerned and contacted the property manager (Amy) who was extremely responsive and helpful, she even went to the property and walked it with me on the phone to address any of the previous comments on other reviews. We did not experience any of the issues from other reviews during our stay. Amy also reached out several times during our stay to check in and be sure everything was up to par. When we arrived the house was spotless, and I mean spotless. There was a note, 2 beach towels, a beach bag and a bottle of wine waiting on the counter. Every detail had been thought of, the house was more than big enough for the adults and our spring break crew. We loved the outdoor showers, all of the patios and the the lookout where we could see all of Seaside. The square is only steps away. We had no issue with parking as other reviews indicated, we were provided with 2 passes and when we left a couple of times, we placed a cone in our designated spot and had no issues at all. The kitchen was well stocked and the home has a washer and dryer which was very handy with teenage girls. The only issue is that the grill needs to be replaced as the grate has disintegrated, Other than that, it was a perfect vacation. We would definitely stay at Elegance again!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental “Elegance” has not been maintained. It was in poor shape. Ice maker did not work. Internet access did not work. Television cable for all televisions never worked. Upstairs back wood deck had exposed nail heads that had pulled out and boards were rotted. It was too dangerous to use. Master shower drain was clogged. Water would accumulate to point of overflowing shower and you would have to turn off water. Reported issues to “Homeowner’s Collection” and nothing was done, nor did we hear from the manager, as promised. I did predict we would not hear from them. That I got tight. Renter stay away!

Legs are not secure.Stove does not heat up quickly.Needs non-stick fry pans.Outside bedroom shower needs caulking.Wood rot in some places.LR furniture could use new slipcovers.Could use a new coat of white paint inside.We loved the location and bedroom configuration.Wish it was available July 2-9 2022!!!
