Grove to Grayt is classic mid-century architecture with a refreshing beachy vibe. Located within the charming, historic village of Grayton Beach, this two-bedroom home offers plenty of peace and quiet while still keeping you close to the local attractions, too. This home was originally in Seagrove, and the owners moved it here to preserve its classic old-Florida feel.

The home sits on a quiet street in Grayton, where neighbors love to stroll by with their dogs, giving the area a warm, small-town charm. It sits back from the road, allowing plenty of lounging space in the front yard. The main walkway leads up to the front door, which opens into an inviting living area, where gorgeous natural Florida sunshine pours through large, sparkling windows.

On one side of the GREAT ROOM is a stunning custom KITCHEN designed for the true cook. Beautiful marble countertops and a full suite of GE Café appliances set the tone, including a French door refrigerator and a six-burner gas stove. A dedicated appliance cabinet keeps everything close at hand — microwave, rice cooker, ice cream maker, and blender — so you’ll have everything you need, whether you’re whipping up a quick breakfast or preparing a proper feast with your fresh catch. Comfy leather barstools at the island make it the perfect spot to gather, sip your morning coffee, or keep the chef company while the meal comes together.

Next to the kitchen is the LIVING AREA, complete with a large HDTV, a comfy sectional sofa, and a stylish leather armchair. There’s also a full DINING ROOM with seating for eight, right next to the living area, and a spacious LAUNDRY ROOM just off the kitchen.

Each of the two separate bedrooms is located down a short hallway. The FIRST BEDROOM has a luxurious king-size bed and an HDTV, while the SECOND BEDROOM has an inviting queen-size bed and an HDTV. Across the hallway from both bedrooms is the single FULL BATHROOM, with a tub/shower combo and a quirky, flamingo wallpaper.

In the backyard, there’s a gas barbecue for grilling out under the stars, while in the front yard, there’s a relaxing firepit for gathering around with a bottle of wine and some good conversation. The home faces Grayton Beach State Park, and a beautiful, unspoiled stretch of state park beach is just a short walk away down a sandy path. This tucked-away section of 30A has no public parking, making it a true neighborhood gem — peaceful, uncrowded, and all the more special for those lucky enough to be staying right here.

The house is in a wonderful location that is convenient to everything Grayton has to offer. It appears to be recently remodeled and furnished with comfortable furniture and stylish decorations. We definitely plan on coming back and renting it again in the future!

Everything about the property was great. Very clean with modern appliances. My only gripe is the tv in the living room. Trying to figure out and use the remote and apps was very difficult. Other than that, the house was great.

Delightful Spot

This 2 bedroom/1 bath is wonderful! The mid-century vibe makes it really fun to stay here. Someone with great taste spent time and money on creating an eye-catching, comfortable and colorful retreat! It is fresh and super clean and the beds were comfy. If you’re looking for smaller accommodations, I highly recommend this one.

Cutest Beach Cottage Ever!!

We had the perfect stay in Grayton Beach! We absolutely loved the beach cottage. It was located just down the street from the beach. We were able to ride our bikes there everyday and avoided the impossible task of finding parking. The house was absolutely adorable and beautifully decorated. The owners obviously put so much care and pride in restoring it. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was perfect for all the meals we made. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had our 2 kids (pre-teens) and dog and the house was perfect. The location is AMAZING. We rode our bikes to the beach every day, had coffee and breakfast burritos from the coffee shop right up the rode, 1 minute bike ride to the convenient store. Took an uber into seaside etc. Highly recommend this adorable home. The design is beautiful - the laundry room was gorgeous! I agree with some of the reviews about the sand on the floors. The floors are gorgeous but you can't see the sand when you sweep so it makes sense to have a vacuum and/or way more rugs instead. Wasn't an issue though because, well, you are at the beach and there will be sand :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful interior decorating. Great location to the beach. Good A/C and comfy beds. When making your decision, factor in that the bathroom is terribly small. We had serious internet issues which would unfortunately keep us from selecting this location again - we usually have some work to do while on vacation. The front windows/view are what make the house and they were very dirty - this may be outside of the mgmt. company's duties, but the owners need to factor this in. We ended up cleaning them ourselves to have a clear view for the week. Giving a 5 for cleanliness but that doesn't include the windows. Sheet pans needs to be replaced (rusted) and no drip coffee maker or toaster. Vacuum cleaner needed to be able to keep the floors clean.

Great Location and home with character

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great access to the beach was just a short walk down the street and while the public beaches to the east were very busy the access to the park beaches to the west were almost “private”. The house had a ton of character and the mid century beach cottage vibe was great. Overall we loved the stay with only a few caveats that honestly were not deal breakers but need to be pointed out. The house has great looking floors that fit the character but they could use to be refinished so when you are there the floors quickly feel very dirty and there is nothing to clean the floors with they had a swifter but no pads for it a small vacuum or mop would be helpful we ended up having to wear shoes then would wipe off our feet before getting in bed every night. The single bathroom is small but that was expected but it had holes in the wall and by the window the shower head was extremely low for most men of average height and had almost no pressure. Additionally when we arrived there was quite a bit of debris on the floors including what appeared to be piles of dog hair. All this is to just help future renters we still really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if if we’re fitting but would bring cleaning supplies.
