We had a reservation and when my wife and daughter and granddaughter arrived to check in, the woman at the front desk told them they GAVE THE ROOM AWAY and I quote "there's nothing I can do above it " .Terrible service...instead of helping them get a room..she tells them there's nothing I can do about it...We will never stay there again

Unfortunately the room was super hot and the air didn’t work even after calling. I questioned the cleanliness of the sheets and towels as they seemed pretty wrinkly. No soap in the bathroom. It wasn’t awful just wasn’t the normal Fairfield feel

Thank u to Sandy for personally helping with a broken tub stopper. She went out and bought one. Property needs maintenance. Doors r difficult to open, both exterior and to guest rooms. Would be difficult for elderly people. Breakfast needs forks. Only had spoons. Rooms are nicely arranged.

Worst bed ever…

Clean hotel with nice room, but the beds are sunken and hard as a rock. Worst bed I may have ever slept on. In so much pain from back spasms I nearly needed to call paramedics. I will never stay in a Fairfield again.

The way I was welcomed by Rosio, I felt as though I was staying in her own home! Her positive attitude and never hesitating to answer any of the myriad of questions that came her way! If management doesn’t cultivate the precious resource she is, it would be a colossal failure! Conversely, the area that the hotel is located in, is not the safest in Santa Fe, although this is really not the fault of the hotel, it’s just reality. Several good restaurants are located nearby, but I would not recommend walking to any of them, and I once lived in Santa Fe!

From check in to when I left, every member of staff was absolutely wonderful! Special mention of the Front Desk Clerk, Rosio, (I sure hope I got her name correct!) who made me feel like I was staying in her own home! She never hesitated to answer any of the myriad of questions that came her way! If the management doesn’t cultivate her talent, then you’ve made a serious error in judgment. The positive attitude she showed is definitely one of the reasons I will happily continue to stay at Fairfield!

The staff were super friendly, and solved any issue i had which were very few. The rooms are newly renovated but it still smells like the rooms have been aged. I only used the fitness facility and it was always clean. I wish there was a cable machine or even a rack for squatting and bench pressing. Regardless, my stay was great and I would stay here again

The property wasn’t to bad in the sense of cleanliness and just needing a place to hang your hat. To start off the ice box was dirty with a sticky substance, the AC smelled like it could use a filter change and there was no hand soap provided for hand washing. The “hot” tub didn’t exceed 80 degrees . I was over charged and no one could seem to tell me why and each employee had a different excuse or answer. When I told them they over charged me and that I couldn’t afford the $377 on top of the $1,030 they charged at my check in. Mind you my reservation said $878( with tax) and was told the $1,030 was a damage holding fee and that I would get most of it back, well instead tried to charge me $377 (6 times ) I had to turn my card off. Was able to check out properly and was told to call Expedia and that the manager would call me back and he never did. I still don’t know what’s going on. I want my money back at this point

I had to wait about 5 minutes before someone came to check me in. The person checking me in quoted me a price for my pet staying with me. When I checked out it was $20 more. When I mentioned this the person checking me out said there was nothing she could do. So wrong!

The property is your typical 1960-1970 hotel that they’ve tried to update and refurbish. The room was nicely furnished, but looking closer you could see where they’d cut corners. The carpets were dinghy and seams had popped in places. The shower head was clogged with hard water scale to the point it almost didn’t work. The bathroom fan didn’t work, and the bathroom vanity’s mirror was peeling. The bed felt like a brick, but the pillows were nice. BUT - this is an economy hotel with free breakfast, so I have to put things into perspective. The staff were kind and helpful, the property was easily accessible from the main road coming into the area, and close to amenities and restaurants. My room was accessible through the side parking lot up a flight of stairs, so it wasn’t overly inconvenient. The breakfast was standard with various options. All together a good stay.

For one we couldn't even bring in our stuff on a cart because the people infront of us took 2 and never returned them . We got woken up at 6am by a barking dog. Breakfast was gross. Our showerhead was broken and sprayed all over the floor when using it we cleaned up with lots of towels. No soap at sink. No trashbags. And worst of all the pool was literally 100 degrees and hot tub was 105.... i have a photo of the thermometer . According to Google the hot tub should be no more then 102 and pool should be no more then 86. When i tried to talk to a manager the front attendant was very rude and actually hung up on me she would not give me her name. Worst experience ever. That experience made me have a panic attack. Considering we booked for the hotub and pool..we traveled from Colorado and im disabled I really needed that hot tub this morning before we left. Now im in pain and my kids are upset on the way back home. 💔.
