Sidewalk Cottage

Inserted in a beautiful rural area, in direct contact with nature, is our Casa De Campo. Surrounded by fruit trees, flowers and with a unique landscape, this house can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 people.

The house has 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bathroom, living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, in a single area where there is also a sofa bed.

The balcony allows a superb view of the sea and the green surroundings, and is conducive to having a meal outdoors. It is a calm and peaceful place conducive to rest.

The house is an annex to the mother house, with large cultivated gardens, where you can harvest aromatic herbs for your meals or even try exotic fruits from the island.

It does not have direct access by car, as there is a typical footpath to reach the house. You will always be able to park on the main road.

Amazing place in Madeira

We absolutely enjoyed this lovely place and thanks a lot to the lovely hosts! The apartment has an amazing view (even from the beds which are quite comfy), is well equipped and has a beautiful terrace. We had a rental car and you reach Funchal in a few minutes. The owners were extremely friendly and even gave us fruits like bananas and papayas from the garden when we arrived. There is no street noise and we found the place very calm and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!!!

Tout c’est bien passé. Appartement très agréable vue sur mer , très propre. Petit bémol; celui-ci, soi-disant pouvant accueillir quatre personnes, les équipements de la cuisine ne sont pas assez complets pour vivre à quatre. Il est impossible de manger dehors sur cette petite table à 4. Un seul bain de soleil sur la terrasse mais celui-ci est inutilisable ( cassé) nous l’avons pourtant signalé dès le deuxième jour, mais il n’a pas été remplacé. Pour nous, il nous sommes impossible de vivre ici à quatre, mais parfait pour deux.

Sehr saubere Fewo mit einem tollen Blick. Fewo war leicht zu finden. Genau gegenüber vom Canico Mar. Vermieter sehr nett. Bei Ankunft war 1 Fl.Rotwein und frische Bananen aus dem eigenen Garten da. Vermieter sprechen so gut wie kein Englisch.Spanisch und Portugiesisch. Parken an der Strasse war OK. Fast alle Strassen auf Madeira sind steil.

Toller Blick. Sehr günstige Unterkunft

Sehr schade ist, dass die Vermieter absolut kein Wort Englisch sprechen. Es gibt keine Hinweise zur Mülltrennung, keine Wegbeschreibung zum Strand oder sonstwelche Tipps. Der Taxifahrer kannte die Adresse nicht und ist kreuz und quer durch den Ort gefahren. Teuer und nervig. Mietwagen konnte keiner mehr gebucht werden vor Ort. Ausverkauft sozusagen. Die Hunde sind tatsächlich so nervig, dass schlafen kompliziert war. Unterkunft sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Deutsches Fernsehen gab es allerdings nicht. Außerdem fehlt ein Sonnenschutz auf dem Balkon.

Hell und modern

Wir sind rundum zufrieden. Der Vermieter wohnt im Haus, ist sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das App ist modern eingerichtet mit Superküche und die großen Glastüren ermöglichen jederzeit den Blick auf den weiten Ozean. Der Balkon führt rund um das App. Viele regionale und Touri-Restaurants und Eventanbieter um die Ecke. Ruhige Lage in einem großen Garten. Nachts leider oft wie aber fast überall auf Madeira viel Hundegebell.

Weihnachten / Neujahr 2019 - 20

Schöne saubere und sehr helle Wohnung. Etwa 100 m weg von der Hauptstraße und relativ ruhig gelegen (Hunde hört man auf Madeira immer), netter Vermieter der aber leider nur portugiesisch spricht. Macht ab und zu am WE mal ne Grillparty aber um 23.30 Uhr ist es wieder ruhig. Manko ist das sehr schmale Bett (1.40m) und das sehr unbequeme blaue Sofa. Das ist sehr durchgesessen und sollte mal ausgetauscht werden. Und das Schloss vom Bad klemmt arg. Mit dem Wasserdruck gab es keine Probleme. Zwei x fünf Taler für 10 Übernachtungen max. waren noch zu entrichten vor Ort für 2 Personen (Inselsteuer / ähnlich Kurtaxe). Alles andere wie in der Beschreibung. Preis Leistung stimmt.

Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig und lag inmitten eines großen Gartens. Es war alles bestens für unsere Anreise vorbereitet und es war ein sehr freundlicher Empfang. Der Vermieter selber spricht zwar kein englisch, aber die Verständigung ging gut mit etwas Spanisch, Google-Übersetzungsprogramm und "Händen und Füssen". Er versorgte uns sogar mit Obst aus seinem Garten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft wählen, falls wir nochmals nach Madeira fliegen.

Schöne Zeit

Zu dritt haben wir eine tolle Zeit in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Das Objekt haben wir sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber vorgefunden. Der Ausblick von der wunderschönen Terrasse und die Lage (Nähe zum Flughafen u. Funchal etc.) ist, vor allem wenn man einen Mietwagen hat, super. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden das Objekt auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung entspricht komplett der Beschreibung. Sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft schön. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, sprechen aber nur portugiesisch und spanisch, das sprechen wir leider nicht. Für zwei Personen ist die FeWo optimal. Auch parken an der Straße ist kein Problem, wir haben immer etwas gefunden. Die Straße ist nur sehr, sehr steil, wie viele auf Madeira. Der Weg zur FeWo geht durch einen kleinen Gang (gut beschildert) und durch den Garten des Hauses. Wir würden die FeWo wieder wählen.

Schöne kleine Wohnung mit Blick auf das Meer!

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, einziger Wermutstropfen: nebenan auf dem selben Grundstück wird ein Häuschen gebaut und so entsteht derzeit teilweise Baulärm oder es tönt laute Musik von der Baustelle. Vermieter sind sehr nett, sprechen aber leider kein Englisch.

Sehr schöne und saubere Ferienwohnung; das Bett ist nur 1,40 cm breit, es gibt aber eine Ausziehcouch im Wohnzimmer, Wasser (Dusche, Waschbecken) fließt manchmal mehrere Minuten lang nur ganz schwach, einige Restaurants zu Fuß zu erreichen, sehr guter Standort für Wanderungen im Nordosten

Keine Urlaubsentspannung wegen Pressluftbohrerlärm auf dem Grundstück

Das Appartement war wie angekündigt sehr schön und zweckmäßig ausgerüstet. Der Blick aus der Wohnung und von der Terrasse richtig schön. Allerdings wurde ein Teil des Gartens gerade zu einem Baugrundstück umgewandelt und wir mußten 9 Tage von 9-18 Uhr mit dem permanenten Lärm eines Pressluftbohrers leben, der den Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse unmöglich machte und den Spass am Aufenthalt in der Wohnung bei geschlossenen Türen und Fenstern einschränkte. Wir hätten erwartet, im Vorfeld der Reise vom Vermieter auf den entstehenden Krach aufmerksam gemacht zu werden, um zum Beispiel von der Anmietung zurücktreten zu können. Auch war der Vermieter während unseres Urlaubs nicht anwesend. Er wurde von einem nur portugiesisch sprechenden „Verwalter“ vertreten, der sehr höflich war, aber mit dem wir nur nonverbal kommunizieren konnten. Da sich auch unsere Anreise um 4 Stunden auf 22 Uhr verzögert hatte, standen wir bei unserer Ankunft auf der Straße. Lediglich einer portugiesischen Nachbarin, die sehr ausdauernd die angegebenen Telefonnummern ausprobierte und schließlich einen Kontakt auf Portugiesch zum Verwalter herstellen konnte, war es zu verdanken, daß wir die erste Nacht nicht im Leihwagen verbringen mußten.

Nous n'avons pas vu Enriques mais des personnes très sympathiques. la maison n'est pas visible depuis la rue. nous avons eu du mal a trouver l'adresse. l'appartement est a dessus des propriétaires. tout est propre, tout est neuf, il ne manque rien. très ensoleillé, pleins sud avec vue sur mer. la maison est proche de tout, entourée de bananiers et d'un magnifique jardin que le propriétaire entretien sans cesse. très discret, toujours souriant et d'humeur égale. il est toujours là pour vous rendre service malgré la barrière de la langue. tout près de l'aéroport et de Funchal desservi par des voies express. merci pour ce beau séjour aux maîtres des lieux

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cet appartement très bien situé à mi-chemin entre l'aéroport et Funchal, surplombant la mer. Il est spacieux et très confortable, au-dessus de l'appartement du propriétaire; nous avons regretté de ne pas pouvoir échanger avec celui-ci car il ne parlait pas anglais. Nous avons admiré son jardin dont il prenait particulièrement soin.
