This is a nice hotel close to the airport if you are looking for something easy & accessible. We were scheduled for 3 nights but missed two because of flight cancellations out of the Azores. No consideration given for the extreme case. Our room overlooked the ocean which was nice but the beds are hard (all throughout Madeira). The breakfast is great with a lot of choices & the pool areas are fantastic. The swim area on the ocean was our favourite.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It just ticked all the boxes for me. Immaculate rooms, substantial breakfast buffet with great views out to the ocean, option to swim in pools (indoor or outdoor) plus the amazing rock pool complete with lifeguards. Lots of quite spaces to lose yourself. Choice of numerous restaurants, state of the arc gym, fitness classes with views of the ocean, etc etc. What is there not to love about this place? I plan to return very soon. The Spa - oh my goodness this was amazing and the girls who carried out the treatments were just delightful. Only problem (which is NOT the hotel's faults) is flying in and out of Madeira as it is very windy!
