Lovely holiday in lovely surroundings
My wife and I stayed for 10 quiet peaceful days in early February in this apartment, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very well maintained and equipped to a high standard, nothing being overlooked. Car parking either within the grounds of the property or outside was easy and always available.
As it was warm and sunny for the duration of our stay, the large South facing balcony, with sea views, was much appreciated and enjoyed sun at any time of day – the best we have experienced on any of our rentals!
Our hosts, Bernardo and Maria, were very friendly, (as were Eddie and Beethoven, their dogs). They were always on hand and responded enthusiastically to any request we made.
I would make just 2 comments about the accuracy of details on the HomeAway listing – there is no air conditioning as stated and the grill as listed is part of a combination microwave/grill. These issues did not detract in any way from our enjoyment of our stay, but may be helpful for others to be aware of.
When we visit Madeira again, my wife and I would certainly choose to stay here.
