The owner greeted us and introduced herself before we even got to the office. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and things to see. The room was exceptionally clean! Super cute motel and rooms and would definitely stay here again!

No ice. Coffee was instant, not real. No chairs in the room, just bar stools.

Hi Jan, sorry it wasn't a perfect stay. Just to clarify - the coffee is definitely NOT "instant": it is "steep"-style coffee from a local coffee roaster. It comes in bags like tea and steeps in hot water, which is provided via the in-room water kettle (which is useful for tea drinkers also.) There is no ice machine, but i believe we provided you with bag of ice and a cooler? Sorry if that was a different guest, but in any case, ice is definitely available! You're right that the kitchenette rooms come with counter stools. Folding chairs are available on request. Thanks for giving our independent motel a shot!

Biggest negative we had during our stay was that there was no one on site to check us in or out. Check in was supposed to be at 4:00. We tried three times to check in before the housekeeper finally let us in a room. There was also no one available when we had trouble getting our door to lock. Customer service nightmare.

Terrific place that has been recently renovated. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

I was pretty much pleased with everything about the place. A very friendly greeting when we arrived. Very helpful with our check in to the room. Super nice room with very comfy beds. Super clean new room. They allowed us to have our dogs stay there. The only minor thing was that we couldn't get any local channels on the TV. We will surely book a stay there again when or if we are in the area.

Gary, thanks so much for taking the time to review! Yeah, the smart tvs are funky like that -- the one thing they don't do well is local channels. But I'm so glad the rest of your stay was great and look forward to seeing you again.
