This was a last minute trip so not much research was done before booking this place. To be honest, the photos made this place look "ok" but we went ahead and booked it. We just wanted to get out of Tulsa and take the kids hiking and fishing. For a one-day getaway, 4 hours was pretty far for my parents and by the time we got near, they were already exhausted and complaining a lot, especially when we turned into the dirt road heading to cabin. The scenery was beautiful. But when we stepped inside the cabin, we were not expecting it to be so nice and clean. The photos do not do it justice. My parents loved it so much, they want to go back with their friends and spend some quiet days there. There isn't any lakes or rivers nearby so we didn't get to do much of that. Again, it was a last minute thing so we didn't do much research. There are cows and donkeys nearby and the kids had a blast just trying to look and pet them. In the morning, the fog was so thick, it just made it much more homier. For me, I loved that it had a gas stove since I don't like cooking on electric stove. The only negative thing I have to say is that the microwave didn't work but luckily, we didn't need it. I would like to suggest to the owner that they add a blender. But this place was AMAZING. If I had any questions, Kayla was so quick to respond and so super nice. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin. We plan to go back in the winter.
