60th Anniversary Trip

We enjoyed our stay at Solaria II and III from December 21, 2024 to January 4, 2025. This is our third family trip over the holidays, the previous 2 were to Costa Rica to celebrate our 50th and 55th anniversaries. This year it was our 60th wedding anniversary and there were 14 of us on the trip. We enjoyed Belize, but there were several issues with this property.The property has three large homes around a central pool and a nice beach in front. We were told that the third home was not rented and the owners were seldom there. Being a holiday period the owners were there with several family members during our entire stay. While this was not a major issue, it did cause some awkwardness around the use of the pool. Because of the Vrbo promotions we fully expected that we would have the entire property to ourselves.A major issue was that the sewer line from unit III broke, and we did not have use of the toilets for 24 hours. Fortunately, we also had unit II so were able to use those facilities. However, that is very awkward, especially in the middle of the night.Early in our trip our daughter-in-law was stung by a scorpion in her bed. This required a trip to the hospital for medication and an IV. No offer was made to cover those costs. It made us all very cautious walking around the houses, and checking in our beds every night. Unit II was also without water on two occasions, once overnight until the maintenance man Daniel fixed the problem.Tired houses

A tranquil breathtaking accommodation.

We arrived early December of mix of sun and rain. We had a beautiful family vacation here. The pool was extremely enjoyable witch held a family of 10 for us. Hammocks, beach furniture and kayaks were great for the family to enjoy. The grounds were kept in great shape as the grounds keeper raked the leaves and sea grass every morning with a smile and a great positive attitude. The manager of the property was helpful in many ways and where he went out of his way to satisfy us. So a big thanks to Daniel. If anything our suggestions to improve the stay to be more enjoyable would be some updates on the patio furniture. Overall we had the best time enjoying the views, tranquility and time we had at Solaria II and III. We would recommend anyone heading to San Pedro to think of staying at this beautiful getaway.

Belize - June 2024

Solaria Villas was a great place to stay and suited the needs of our family group of 14. The houses are unique and we enjoyed the open spaces, kitchen, and spacous bedrooms. Beds were quite comfy too. The view is great and so relaxing! We had some lazy days around the grea swimming pool. But we were also active with trips to San Pedro and Secret Beach. Solaria is about equal distance to each. Danny and Kerwyn worked diligently every day to keep the grounds groomed. They are friendly guys and full of information if you just ask. For sure the property is great. But I also can't say enough good things about Sunrise Property Management. They are so service-oriented. Simon and his team answered all of our questions almost immediately. They arranged our excursions, set up the golf carts and taxis to Solaria, and booked our Tropic Air flights. They are amazing! If you're thinking about booking Solaria Villas, I wouldn't hesitate. We were quite satisfied.

Fantastic place for large group

We had 15 friends that rented Solaria II and III. This place was amazing. The houses were absolutely beautiful with everything that you could think of available, even Bluetooth. Extremely clean, with very comfortable beds. Location was just far enough outside of town to have some relaxation but close to Secret Beach. The staff were also very responsive. Simon was extremely responsive with all of our needs from the beginning. Golf carts were delivered directly to our place and the process was seamless. The grounds were always kept spotless, with the beach being racked a few times a day. Eilio was also very personable and helpful with any of our needs. This place is truly a gem. We will definitely be back.

40th birthday

The property was beautiful and the pictures online don't do it justice! We had a group of 10 adults but this is still perfect for families as well. The beach and pool are steps away which are beautiful and well maintained.

Good Pool and Kayaking, Good for Groups/Big Families

There is a lot of space and several bathrooms to accommodate bigger groups. It has very high, decorative ceilings. The pool is a great hangout place and the kayaks are handy to have right there. The location is a bit remote from town and attractions but not out of reach. They have a full time grounds person on site for anything you might need. They offer a ton of of information and the booking services you'll need for local transportation and excursions as well. That all makes it easier for a first time visitor to navigate the logistics of international travel.

What an amazing place

We loved every single minute of our stay in this beautiful piece of paradise. And special thanks to Candido, the Caretaker for looking after us and treating us so well we would highly recommend a stay at this house.
