Renter beware!!! I rented this property out with my family for a three-night stay. The property was filthy. The towels were torn and dirty. The bed sheets were not only stained with makeup and other questionable spots, but smelled terrible and were covered in lint and hair. Everything was dusty. The “amenities” advertised were unusable. The A/C did not work. The “traditional” mattress advertised in one of the bedrooms is an old, springy and unusable. This was on a Thursday, and the host claimed that it had been cleaned on Monday. In actuality, the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. It reeked of dust. When we voiced our serious concerns about the cleanliness of the place, we were told by Eric that he had planned on cleaning the outside in the morning before check-in, but was not able to. In addition, he informed us that he will be able to send out a cleaning crew the next day to change and clean everything. In the meantime, I suppose he just expected us to sleep in disgusting beds. When contacting VRBO and requesting a refund, the customer service contacted Eric, who ceded to respond to messages for the rest of the day, leaving us without options. We then left the property because like stated before, it was not only uninhabitable, but severely misrepresented on the VRBO site. Over 12 hours later, he texted us the next day claiming he was on a hike with his dad and had no service. As for the positive reviews, I suspect they are disingenuous as well.
