Overall, we had a nice stay. The house was cute, exactly as pictured, and very clean when we arrived. The private backyard was lovely, and the gardening around the property was beautiful and clearly well maintained. The home had everything we needed for our stay and felt comfortable and well cared for. The property manager was excellent with communication and very responsive. When the water filter needed to be changed, they came by the next morning to replace it, which we really appreciated. The location is in a quiet area and about a 15-minute walk to both the ocean and the town area. One thing to know is that the unit is located behind another house, so it can be a little harder to find at first—you have to go through the gate and walk back to the unit behind the front house.Parking can be challenging since it is street parking only. If you don’t arrive at the right time, you may need to park a block or more away. This could be difficult for elderly or handicapped individuals. The house also does not have air conditioning. We visited in the “winter,” so it wasn’t an issue for us because the evenings were cool and there was a nice breeze, and there are plenty of fans in the house. The listing photos showed a fire pit in the backyard, but there was not one during our stay, I know he had stated he had to remove the grill for Insurance so I assume the pit as well. Overall, it’s a great little house to stay in—clean, charming, and with a very responsive host.
