Comfortable and clean

Enjoyed the stay. Centrally located to San Diego tourist spots. Nice and clean Noisy in the neighborhood at night ie train, dogs barking, music with a strong bass and late night conversations from neighboring apartments. But overall, we appreciated the stay.

good location for the zoo

4 bedrooms, 2 restrooms. No dishwasher but lovely little kitchen and outdoor area. It is ideal location between Coronado Island and SD zoo. Contacting the host was very easy and she responds extremely quickly. Netflix provided, which was nice. The neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe. Cars honking and alarms going off at random times of the night, a group of men hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the house for hours in the afternoon, stray dogs running around, and occasional yelling on the streets. But there is a gate you can pull one car into! If you are traveling in a group, it should be fine. We would definitely stay here again since the location is excellent for the zoo and tacos and ribs. Also, we thought the home was very comfortable and a kind host.

The stay was amazing! The house was very welcoming also comfortable. Didn’t have any problems at all. Host responds very fast so that’s a plus. Also the decor is nice makes you feel at home. Location is great right next to everything you need also some great food spots. Highly recommended

I'm going to provide this review as it includes thing I would have liked to know prior to booking. I recently stayed and Nicole's place with my family, a friend and her kids. The check in process was super easy and Nicole was quick to respond. Over all the property was mostly clean, there was some staining on the couch cushions and carpets. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean when we arrived. The listing does include a playground which I did not see, there is a small fire pit area in the backyard with a plastic dart board (the patio chairs in the back were very dirty so I just wipe some off with baby wipes before sitting down).There was also an old foosball table, a larger connect 4 type game and a BBQ in the backyard. We did try to use the BBQ the first night I could not get the right side of the BBQ to ignite. I tell Nicole and she will be looking into that. The back covered parking is big enough to park two mid size SUV's. The listing does say the house has air conditioning, however it is not central air as I had assumed. Each room has a window unit air conditioner or a larger system with a tube like hose that connects to the outside. In the living room when the unit is turned on it is a bit loud so it is difficult to have a conversation or watch tv. One thing that was concerning was that someone (host/owner) did enter the property while we were out one day and place some more foliage on the chain link fence. I would prefer advance notice when it comes to others entering.

Terrific Stay

The property was great. Had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. The property is located in kind of a seedy area, but we never felt unsafe. The parking is fenced and locked. The location was great for us - 10 min from Coronado island and downtown, and 5 min to Balboa Park. Communication with the host couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay here again.
