If it's a lower price place near the beach is what you're in the market for, then this might be okay. But it's not that cheap comparatively and we've never seen a hotel room that has no closet, no dresser, no utilitarian couch, no side table lamps - nothing really but a bed and buzzing mini-fridge. Our clothes had to be laid out on the floor. The hotel is really run down and on a very busy, noisy street with car rumbling by all night. When we got there, the night manager told us we booked a smoking room (we didn't) and that a non-smoking room would be $100 more. A general greasy experience all around. There's a ton of other, better hotel choices in the area.

A clean room and a comfy bed characterize this place. The front desk staff is helpful. The location is good, near the surf quarter, and with a bit of short walking you can find a couple of good pubs and eateries in the area. I would stay here again.

I made a last minute reservation on hotels.com for that same day, February 15 for mechanical reasons and in the application there were rooms available so I reserved one and it was charged to my bank account, when I arrived at the hotel there was a sign that said "there are no rooms available" so I called and called and called until an indu type person came out to tell me the same thing, so I asked for my refund because he didn't get me the service and said he couldn't do anything just have to call hotel.com and until now I'm still waiting

Staff was very friendly & nice. Hotel is a little run down, rooms slowly being remodeled, pipes leak in the underground parking lot. Room was clean, but also lacking a dresser.
