The staff was amazing.!! The food was great! The artwork was absolutely beautiful, and what a great setting. The full moon came up over the lake . What a nice memory of Bariloche!!!

Old world charm done right. At El Casco Art Hotel, we were surrounded by paintings; sculptures and furniture that offered a sensory delight. The staff were exceptional, catering to all our needs. You know when professional feels cold and perfunctory, this was the opposite. The staff of El Casco were warm and helpful, leaving no stone unturned in making our experience unforgetable. From the turndown service to the play list at breakfast (I may have boogied a time or two), we felt welcomed and pampered. Shout out to Giancarlo, Tomas and Juan. We highly recommend this hotel.

Would stay here again. Beautiful hotel with magnificent view, art collection and friendly staff. Room was spacious and good breakfast. During our stay, air conditioning was not available. It’s a centralized system so if you come between seasons be aware or contact hotel for details first.

This hotel felt like it would have been a lovely 5* hotel in the 1990’s but has not been updated since. Unfortunately it was quite dated in appearance, in particular the carpets were visibly stained. The room was hot in October with no method to switch off the room heating as the thermostat was broken. The staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast was 3-4* hotel level - did have hot food options but not as extensive as I usually see in 5* hotels. This is a hotel where you need a car to drive into the city, unless of course you just want to sit and lounge in the hotel all day. Bed was comfortable. Overall nice but not excellent.

Very nice and quiet place, away from the noise and crowds but close enough to the main attractions. I am very pleased with the hospitality, the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Our kid was sick during our trip and they accommodated us with all of our needs to make sure we could make the most out of our visit

The hotel staff were fabulous, the rooms were large and beds comfortable. The hotel is a bit worn round the edges (the gym especially needs some investment) but it’s overall charming. The food was great, especially the breakfast! Will definitely come back.

Beautiful lakeside hotel with gorgeous art and sculptures everywhere. Service was excellent and our room was very comfortable with twice daily housekeeping service. Compared with US 5-star hotels this fell a little short. No bedside plugs to charge your phone, no reading lights, the jacuzzi has to be filled every time you want to use it. But it was a charming place and reflects the natural beauty of Bariloche.

Great hotel to spend your vacation in Bariloche. I could not give a 5 star overall rating due to a car accident we had coming into the hotel when we first arrived. Unfortunately , our driver hired by the hotel, crashed into another car. The hotel did not offer to make any concessions for our bad experience . Luckily, we were not seriously hurt.
