Central hotel. Everything was great. Nice breakfast. BUT This is in a German area. Everything is german first. Nothing wrong with that but keep in mind. If traveling with kids this is not the best area unless you dont plan to be in the area. For adults its fun. If you are into swinger clubs and other fun stuff.

Good location, especially for the main day of Pride. However, it is very run down, shabby and pretty grim overall. Reception is also highly uncommunicative - I tried to call multiple times before my stay to confirm checking in arrangements - apparently you can’t check in after 9:30pm but no details were given on what to do if you do. Not only did they not answer any call, but they also ignored multiple messages via the app too. Laziness! Would recommend you stay anywhere else - there’s no shortage of options in the area.

We were given a twin room even thoughwe booked a double. We were told that was what they provided as a double room. Room looked nothing like the photos or any of the rooms we stayed in on the previous 2 years we visited. Furniture was older than me and looked like it was from the 80’s We were wristbanded and told we could t have any friends over even though we booked it as it had a kitchen and balcony and have had friend over for dinner on previous visits. Breakfast is now included but honestly isn’t worth it… We won’t be back after this experience

The room actually turned out to be a small apartment, so we had lots more space than expected. The accommodation was a little dated, but still well equipped. We also had a nice view of the pool from the balcony of our apartment. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. All in all a very good experience at a reasonable price and I would definitely choose Hotel Rey Carlos again.

Our stay had breakfast included, i find the earlier you go for breakfast, the better, only on 1 occasion we made it early and there was veriety and it was warm/hot. The hotel itself amd staff were clean and plesant. There was a terrible smell of sewage in the lift always and in our bathroom for a couple days. The pool is large and everything you need is within walking distance. I did not see any children at the time of our stay. I would stay again

Another great stay

Was a nice stay missed Pepe who was on holiday.Joelle was very nice on reception as he always helps me to get on WiFi.But one receptionist never looked happy others very good.I always stay at this hotel when in Gran Canaria one person won't put me off staying there again and again.
