The worst hotel I have probably stayed at. Manuel the receptionist is rude and most non- attentive I’ve ever experienced . Check in slowest on earth. Asked for a second key as we were 2 friends sharing a room, not possible and not their problem … Asked for a second bath towel one of the days as the cleaners one left one, it was like asking for a leg or an arm. Last day Was told that last could have a shower as our room was not available for late check out . When asked Was handed in a towel to go and shower nowhere cos nowhere was available.. errmm and with the attitude “not my problem”. Awful awful service. Shower Water flow between cold and mega hot, difficult to shower; bathroom door didn’t close properly and the facilities haven’t had an update since it open properly in the 70’s. Stay away!

Extremely dated, very uncomfortable beds, ceiling fan made a grinding noise, air con didn’t work, the room was noisy as it’s right next to Cita centre, and very inconsistent wifi. But worse was the shower, which varied between scorching and freezing in an exact regular pattern, so I had to time the window of a second or two when it was usable, and dance in and out of the water flow. And at check in, they made me produce some form of receipt which showed both name and the hotel; this doesn’t happen at any other hotel, why here? I’d not recommend this place to anyone

Was a nice stay missed Pepe who was on holiday.Joelle was very nice on reception as he always helps me to get on WiFi.But one receptionist never looked happy others very good.I always stay at this hotel when in Gran Canaria one person won't put me off staying there again and again.

Very hospitable staff who go the extra mile - had an issue with aircon and a maintenance guy came over as soon as possible. They then provided me with a temporary unit as the system took a while to regulate the room temp. Breakfast was very impressive too and my request for a quiet room was granted. I like superior rooms as it was more like an apartment so could cook there too if I wanted to and the hotel was very centrally located. Please thank your lovely staff

The hotel is in a great location and has a lovely pool area which is in the direct sun for most of the day. I stayed in an ‘updated’ apartment which had a balcony overlooking the pool at the front of the hotel. The apartment was very large and offered most things I needed - a few extra touches were needed like washing up sponges and liquid and better shower gels etc. but otherwise the apartment was comfortable. I’ve downside is the noise from guests in the hallway/stairs and sofa area on the top of the stairs. The bedroom is directly next to this hallway and has single glazed slated windows it feels like the people are in the bedroom with you. This results in very early wake up’s with guests returning late from the bars/clubs and others dragging their cases early in the morning and chatting loudly. Buffet breakfast is offer at €10 per person and dinner is also a buffet at €16 per person. I did not try these options but they seemed good value for money

Paid for a superior renovated room which was fine except for the beds which were old and very uncomfortable. Food very good, lovely pool not too busy and great staff. Would stay again if they replaced the bed when renovating the rooms.

Worst beds ever. Why is there even a living room? Get better and bigger beds and use the extra space. Worst lighting ever, very dim. They could use eco bulbs with better lighting. Very shabby hotel.

Great Location, close to bus stop and lots of bars and restaurant. Hotel was clean, however room was only cleaned 1 day out our 3 night. Not sure if this is normal. 2 beds were joined up, but all i felt was springs! Suggest upgrading to the new renovated rooms. Very spacious and felt new . Pool are was great with enough sunbeds. Would stay here again.

Avoid

I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re on a very tight budget. Even the ‘refreshed’ rooms are tired and old. Mine stank of cigarettes. Was only ‘cleaned’ twice during my stay, and even then dirty towels were left lying in the bathroom (not even mine - ones they had used to wipe the floor!!).
