I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this property and surprised it is even listed on Expedia. We paid an average of 120 CAD per night, which feels completely overpriced for the quality and safety of the room.
The room was in poor condition from the moment we entered. The humidity smell was overwhelming. The bathroom sink and faucet were in terrible, dirty condition, and the bathroom window was falling apart. There was no towel rack—only the screws left on the wall. The toilet seat was extremely loose and shifted constantly. Overall, the bathroom was neglected.
Lighting in the room was also very poor. The main door is also the window, and since we were on the ground floor, opening the curtain meant having no privacy at all. This forced us to keep it closed, making the room very dark even during the day.
Noise was a major issue. On the first night, loud music from the restaurant downstairs was clearly heard from our room. Then last night around 11 PM, several people were working right outside our door, which was very disruptive.
The lock on the room door felt unsafe and deteriorated, adding to the sense that the room was poorly maintained.
Expedia also lists an airport shuttle, but the hotel confirmed this service does not exist.
Even though the hotel is beachfront, the beach was very dirty, with lots of plastic containers and garbage.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
