Habitación que se reservo no estaba disponible, hicieron cargo extra por el niño que en la reserva se declaro de 6 años, sin embargo según Bahia principe tenia registrado un bebe de menos de 1 año. Al realizar la reserva el portal exige la edad del infante, la cual se declaro adecuadamente.

Our family had an amazing stay at Bahia Principe El Portillo, and I want to highlight the people who truly made our vacation special. Kids Entertainment: My daughter Victoria absolutely loved the activities! A huge thank you to Luisairis, Beba, and Dominga — they are incredibly warm, energetic, and creative. Every day Victoria ran to them with a smile, and we always felt she was safe, engaged, and genuinely happy. For my son Daniel, the entertainment team was fantastic as well. Special thanks to Victor Calois and Barron for their positive energy, fun games, and personal attention. They created a great atmosphere for older kids and made Daniel feel included and confident. Spa Experience: We also visited the spa, and it was wonderful. Esther and Gricel provided excellent service — very professional, gentle, and attentive. After the treatment we felt relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend! Overall, the hotel has a great family-friendly vibe, clean territory, beautiful beach, and an amazing team that really cares about guests. We are grateful for all the moments they helped create for our children. Would love to return again!

Bar needs to be improved cocktails are too sweet they use sugar stead the real ingredient to prepared drink. Example I asked for a long isla ice tea, they didn’t use the real ingredient to make the drink I returned because it was too sweet. Not quality drinks, however I don’t think the bartender have the necessary ingredients.

Fue una muy buena experiencia aunque con algunas incomodidades , el personal excelente la limpieza excelente la comida super siempre con mucha variedad y buenas atenciones de todo el personal del hotel , siempre amable y con una sonrisa . Algo que si me hizo incomodar un poco reporte el refigerador de la habitación desde el dia que llegue ya que este no funcionaba y yo estaba con mi hijo el cual tenia leche y medicamentos que necesitaba tener en temperatura fria pues nunca fueron a cambiarla ni ponerla en funcionamiento y llegue hacer mas de 3 reportes deberian tener mas cuidado y estar al pendiente al personal que esta para mantenimiento . Despues de ahi todo fue excelente y volveria en un futuro.

We've visited this hotel a few times, mostly because we like the surrounding area of Las Terrenas and its pretty well the only all inclusive hotel in the area. On this visit the food was slightly above average. The room had issues with the hot water and air conditioning control and the fridge leaking water on the floor which we just put up with. At least the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. There were a few bar tenders that were cold, but the majority were friendly. We found around half the staff serving in the dining room weren't very friendly and got in little arguments. If there were two things this hotel needed to improve, it would be conducting a calendar fixed scheduled maintenance in each and every room to make sure everything works right and old and broken items are replaced. The second would be to have bar and dining room staff that are consistently friendly.
