Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. You can take different walking routes into the town, one along the beautiful river. It's just an 8 minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient. Great place, I wouldn't hesitate a second in booking it!

Do didn't like that the receptionist, on check-in, forgot to ask for and enter the car plate on the parking database. Consequently we couldn't get out of the garage, had to go back to front desk, causing us a 30 minute delay for an appointment.

Walking distance to Mirabell Garden. Cross the bridge and you are in old town and other attractions. Very friendly front desk. Shout out to Elaine who is particularly helpful in making our stay nice and smooth. We have fond memories of our stay in Salzburg.

Issue with check-in and check-out. Parking is not really ideal, had to pull up outside on the street to unload luggage because there really is no place to park I gave the front desk person my license plate number as requested when I checked in. When I checked out there was confusion about payment/parking. I paid then left and when I went to leave the parking garage, I had to pay again to get out so I had to park in an inconvenient location to go back in where the front desk lady seemed confused as to why I paid again and didn’t just call her. She then asked if I gave the night front desk person my license plate number, to which I replied I did. Meanwhile I had to explain that it isn’t convenient to sit in the parking garage to call nor to have a convenient place to park. Eventually the extra parking fee was credited back but I spent an extra 15 minutes of my day trying to sort it out.

Poor sound insulation

Room is spacious and the design of the hotel and room is fantastic. Hotel provides still water every day. However, I have to spend time to key in details during check in ( 1st time encounter as usually the hotel staff will key in detail). That makes my stay not welcoming at all given the attitude by the staff. Toilet door was spoilt and very difficult to pull & push. Request for additional 1 pillow but nothing was done. Aircon function seems off after 12am ( during 2nd week of May) and the room is stuffy. We have to open the window but the traffic noise was so loud. The room sound insulation was super bad, I was awake by next door toilet flush and shower during midnight. There is stairs to our room. Imagine we have large luggage and have to carry up down during check in and check out. Very disappointed.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was amazing from the sauna to the vintage turntable and records. The breakfast was amazing offering anything we could wish for. We also loved the bar/lounge with the sweetest bartender. It was a lovely way to end an evening!

Nice Hotel, Great Location

Nice, quality hotel near the train station. It was in a location near numerous restaurants as well as the Mirabell Gardens. Only negative is that the room had a tendency to get too warm for sleeping.
