Cosy 2 room apartment close to historical center with private parking and wifi

The 2 room apartment has been mostly newly furnished in November 2022 and is ideal for families. It has altogether 2 rooms, a bedroom with a queen size double bed and a wardrobe and a living room with a sofa that opens into a queen size double bed, book case, armchair with lamp, smart TV, SAT TV, books and games. A very well equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, fridge and deep freezer. dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker (filter coffee), Nespresso machine, plenty of dishes, etc. The apartment is on the first floor above the ground floor. (In the US first floor is what in Austria is called ground floor!) Bathroom with shower and WC, sink, hairdryer.
All our 3 apartments are located in a small house in a quiet neighborhood, at most 15 walking minutes from the historical center. Each apartment has a private parking place in the yard, wifi, Smart TV with netflix and Zattoo, a well equipped kitchen, a safe deposit box and a baby cot and baby high chair. Common to the 3 apartments is a washing room on the ground floor with washing machine and tumble drier, for use of our guests. In the little garden in the back you will find an open hut for bikes, in case you decide to rent one.
Bedlinen and towels are provided.
All apartments are non-smoking apartments. Smoking only on the balcony or in the garden.
You will find a folder on the table with a list of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets close by , on the way to the center and in the center.
You'll find several restaurants in the neighbourhood, at a walking distance of 2 to 10 minutes, also 2 supermarkets at most 10 minutes walking distance and a bakery about 5 walking minutes from the apartments.
Bus number 27, at about 3-4 minutes walking distance in Ganshofstrasse takes you to the center. Bus number 1 on Maxglaner Hauptstrasse, 5 walking minutes away, to the center and train station. Bus number 2, about 5-6 minutes walking distance on Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse will take you to the airport.
Check in time: If there are guests leaving on the same day, check in time is 15 o'clock. It is possible to deposit your luggage to the apartment from about 10:30 o'clock.
If there are no guests leaving on the day you arrive, you can check in anytime .

Bus stop and grocery is walking distance. Nice and quiet. Doing laundry is a hassle, machine always full, dryer doesn’t dry. Tight quarters in kitchen.

There are not a lot of dining options or grocery in walking distance from this place. But it was nice to stay in the neighborhood off of the commercialized landscapes. With some planning, you can have a nice oasis while on your European vacation.

We stayed here for two nights during winter. The apartment was very easy to find, very close to everything, and most importantly very warm and welcoming! Great Apartment near old town Salzburg

Dr. Ruth’s apartment was clean and well equipped. The walk to old town was only 20-25 minutes. It had plenty of stores and restaurants. You cannot look anywhere without seeing a snow covered mountain or old building. Ruth was very responsive when we had questions. We would stay there again.

Cosy and quaint

A work colleague and I were traveling before a conference and stayed in Salzburg at Dr. Ruth's apartment. The weather was not great while we were there, but we made the most of it. This was particularly easy because our host had thought of everything. She provided us with multiple umbrellas which made venturing out in the cold chilly weather very easy and much more comfortable than we would have been without them. Overall, this was a really nice place to stay if you're in Salzburg sightseeing or relaxing.

Perfect in everyway

If I could give 6 stars I would. Loved this Spotless , quiet and roomy apartment Within walking distance to the centre of Salzburg. A few minutes to the Bus stop # 1 bus if preferred. Keep to the left when exiting the house. A fabulous bakery close to bus stop . Open 6am to 1 pm. The apartment has Lots of thoughtful touches and all the little extras for a comfortable stay. The sofa bed is big with a proper mattress for comfort. Kitchen very well stocked with implements and some basics like coffee and tea varieties. The shower is very good for hot water. Main bedroom comfortable. Windows can be opened in every room for a nice flow of air. Radiators if chilly. We didn’t need them. It’s up one flight of stairs. Communication with the host was first class. The best holiday rental we have stayed in so far and have been in many countries.

The apartment was clean, very cozy and felt like home. We did not use the kitchen much but it seems to have everything you may need. Felt like home. Parking was free. We did not need to rely on public transportation and just walked the 15-20 minutes into the old town. Felt very safe. The host gave detailed information about the apartment and was quick and prompt in her responses.
