🏡 Brand-new Creole-style home full of charm, ideal for 6 guests.
Kaz Mémé is an old Creole House in the highlands of Reunion Island.
Surrounded by a lush garden where lychee trees, palm trees, mango trees, and small citrus plants grow, colorful flowers accompany the house in rare harmony.
Its rooms, open to the landscape, are designed to ensure efficient natural ventilation. The overhanging eaves, adorned with delicate lambrequins, protect the windows from tropical rains and give the house a singular charm.
The little house has been entirely restored, guided by the spirit of the place. Reused and bio-sourced materials from Reunion Island were favored. The existing structure was preserved and reinforced. While the bathroom and kitchen have been completely redone with a simple and elegant design, the other spaces (living room and bedrooms) retain the soul of these old highland houses.
Furnished soberly with antique furniture, creations made from leftover construction materials, and decorated with posters and paintings signed by the best Reunionese artists, the home offers a unique feeling and experience.
The outdoor kitchen, with its large family table, is a space of great conviviality—perfect for spending long evenings chatting and playing with friends, surrounded by sleeping foliage and shimmering stars. 🌿✨
