A luxury-quality, FOUR-BEDROOM, THREE-BATH lakefront home on LOW BANK with gourmet kitchen on highly desired Bottle Bay, across the bay from the Bottle Bay Resort & Marina. The downstairs floor includes a game room with pool table, ping pong table, and PS3 video game console with leather chairs.

This waterfront vacation home has western exposure, a private dock, and outdoor fire pit. This home is the perfect place for making lifelong summer memories with family and friends.

Start your week outside on Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho’s largest lake at 43 miles long. At only 35 feet deep, Bottle Bay is one of the warmest bays on the Lake making it the perfect place for all water sports. This home is the perfect location on the Lake for boating, water skiing, tubing, swimming, playing with water toys, canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddling.

Another benefit of the home's location: Bottle Bay Resort & Marina is a short walk, stand-up paddle or boat ride away and offers dining, cocktails, moorage, gas dock, boat rentals and boat launch. The resort is renowned throughout the Northwest for its handmade burgers, huckleberry margaritas and thirst-quenching lemonade.

If you tire of the water activities, go inside for a competitive game of ping pong or plan a family pool tournament with a mini-pool table trophy. Or, plan a movie night in the living room with popcorn, watching the new flat screen TV (two flat screens upstairs and downstairs). The upstairs TV is a Vizio "smart TV" with "sound bar" that hooks up to Hulu, Netflix, and other TV streaming services.

The owner has also provided DirecTV and WI-FI for guests to use to watch shows and movies.

When night falls, the outside fire pit is the best place to end the evening with s'mores and stargazing.

This vacation home has a kitchen that opens to the living room and deck with everything you would need for a cuisine-friendly holiday. The home is fully-stocked with a panini maker, blender, coffee maker and grinder, Belgian waffle maker, smoothie blender, microwave, pots and pans, glassware and dishes for 12.

There is also a gas grill located outside of the kitchen for steaks, hot dogs, grilled veggies and more.

The four bedrooms provide a variety of sleeping options. Two bathrooms, two baths, and laundry room are located on the main level of the home while two bedrooms, one bath and game room are located on the bottom floor.

While planning your week at the Lake, please take time to explore the town of Sandpoint. A 15-minute boat ride or 20-minute car ride will place you in the heart of town where you will find exceptional dining, shopping, antiquing and a variety of other activities.

Sandpoint lies on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and is surrounded by three major mountain ranges, the Selkirk, Cabinet and Bitter root ranges. It is home to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, Idaho's second largest ski resort after Sun Valley, and is on the International Selkirk Loop and two National Scenic Byways (Wild Horse Trail and Pend Oreille Scenic Byway). Great summer stay!

Went to the cabin with my children, siblings and nieces/nephews. Such a cozy home with anything you might need to make yourself comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with spices and lots of appliances and cookware. Very kid friendly. Wifi works great.

Perfect for Families

This home was on Bottle Bay and in a perfect location. It is only a 30 minute drive from Sandpoint. The house is large and spacious and our group felt there was lots of room. It is right on the lake with a nice backyard for the kids to play games and a nice big dock to run off into the water. The Bay is quite private and and not very busy. There are a couple places to rent a motor boat. If you are looking for a boat to tour around, fish or pull a tube or skier, Bottle Bay Resort is right across the lake (they deliver). If you are looking to wakeboard and wake surf, like we were, you can get a boat from Action Sports in Sandpoint. It takes 30 minutes to drive there and only 10 minutes to get back to the home by water. The property manager, Frankie, was amazing and only a call away if we needed anything, and so helpful in making our stay just perfect. Thanks Frankie! We happened to be there on July 4 and the fireworks in the Bay were as good as I have ever seen before. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Hidden Gem

This property was a hidden gem and had everything we needed and then some. We were very pleased with our week and although the downstairs TV did not work the entire time for the kids, we made due and notified Frankie so she could look into it for the next guest as it wasn’t a big deal. The property is off the beaten path, so if you want to see “town” life it’s a good 30 minute drive to Sandpoint but an easy and beautiful drive. I’d recommend grabbing loads of groceries in Washington before making your way to the house if coming from Spokane so you can stay and enjoy the lovely lake life and also visiting the winery in Sandpoint. The kids enjoyed the daily visit from Harley, who was the dog next door. He was super sweet and friendly but something to note. Only recommendation I might suggest would be getting a couple lounge chairs for the dock that fit the entire body.

Lovely LDW getaway

We had a wonderful stay for Labor Day weekend! The house was perfect for two families. Location was incredible and the accessibility to the dock from the house was great! The house was more than well stocked from kitchen supplies, etc. to float toys and kids movies. We will definitely be back!

A few things I wish I had known

We had a great stay over the summer. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Just a couple suggestions if you are reading this. DO NOT bring your boat to the house. There is ZERO turn around room and the road is a dead end! We have a long bed pick-up and a large pontoon. It was a disaster when we pulled up to the property. Also, there is NO where to eat or grocery shop within a few minutes of the house. The Marina mentioned was serving very limited food options (cold sandwiches, etc.) and many places that could be accessed by boat were closed due to the heat! BRING your groceries, unless you don't mind spending your vacation in the car.

We had a great stay. Beautiful home, awesome dock and all the amenities we could imagine. Plenty of room inside and out for everyone. The teenagers enjoyed the basement area that includes ping pong and a pool table. The 3 year old really appreciated the art corner! We rented a boat and took several trips to Sandpoint which was a quick 16 minutes away. Great communication and quick response from owner and care taker of the home.

Beautiful place to unplug and unwind

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable and had plenty of space for our group! We were able to swim and boat (provide your own). The water was refreshing, but not too cold. The pool table and ping pong table were a plus. If you bring a boat, be aware that the bottle bay marina is not for newbies. It is a tight 1 boat at a time launch with 2 hairpin turns down the single lane road to the launch site.

Stayed Aug 18-27, 2018 with 3 families of 5 adults, 4 kids 4-7. Loved this property. Lots of beds, roomy house, enough baths for all. Large grassed area for badminton, croquet, soccer. Excellent dock (no slivers) kids jumped off dock into lake as it was warm, protected from strong winds, on sunny side of lake for late afternoon sun. Excellent setup for fire pit. Appreciated that we did not have to pack up car to go to a beach, just walk out door and jump in! Bought fishing license to fish off dock and boat as lots and varied fish. Marina just across bay for gas up. (And great burgers, tacos, refreshments) Rented pontoon boat from Sandpoint water sports (they delivered) which allowed us to tour lake, let kids jump off boat into lake and do boat tubing. Large deck with lots furniture,umbrellas allowed us to spend most time outside. Large side by side fridge, freezer in kitchen and extra fridge down allowed us to do huge grocery shop at Safeway on arrival. All sorts of small appliances. Only things missing were whisk, masher. Frankie (property mgr) was very pleasant and accommodating-answered our calls promptly re: tv, DVD, wi-fi hookups, supplied. One of our favourite lake places to drive to from Alberta. Kimberly, owner, easy to contact. House clean, well kept, terrific location. Thanks Kimberly and Frankie -a great vacation.

Overall we had a great time with a few things we wish could have been better.

This home was lovely! The AC was a definite plus given it was 100 plus several days of our visit. The dock is fantastic but if you have a larger boat I would not recommend the Bottle Bay launch or bringing your trailer to the house (one lane to the house in spots with tight turns). The home had adequate amenities to cook and the double oven was a plus. The grill works great as well. Now the negatives, the dishwasher was broken (didn’t clean at all-likely an issue for awhile as when we arrived the cabinet was full of dirty dishes which I washed). Finally, for a house that sleeps 12 people, there was not enough furniture in the living spaces (the family room had one couch and one chair (not what was pictured on VRBO). Disappointing to have to have half the people (we had 8 in our party) sit on the floor or in camp chairs. There was also one couch downstairs. It also would have been nice to have more deck furniture. The caretaker was a pleasure to work with and was quick to answer questions (such as wifi password-there wasn’t one-the one listed on the welcome book was old). She also explained that the book needed to be updated as it stated there were toys and things in the garage for use during our stay-no longer the case apparently. Overall we had a great time.
