The rooms were lovely and beautifully furnished. There was a cold draft by the door (these are 'motel' type rooms) but it was a particularly cold night. Customer service was excellent and the food equally so

Room clean and spacious with nice decor. Only downside was that it was pretty noisy, mainly the constant slamming of the main door but also able to hear people in the other rooms. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant.

One night break for my wife's birthday

Absolutely lovely establishment. Staff are 1st class, pleasant and polite. Food was great and sourced locally, our room was fantastic, well decorated and lovely and warm on this cold February night. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay at The Cricketers

Extremely friendly staff. Very welcoming and dog friendly. The building was a beautifully preserved 15 century pub. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Meals were amazing, we had dinner and breakfast there. I would highly recommend.

Great accommodation and service

I really liked the service and as a lone traveller the restaurant and bar were a great place to be. Although I was working it just felt great. The room was spacious and there was thought given to fresh milk, plenty of tea as well as being spacious.

Birthday stay before flying away.

Went for the “better” room which was comfortable and clean. Was for a birthday meal and stay for my wife. Reasonable size room but would have been nice to have some comfy chairs or a sofa. Was a bit stark and dark. Bed clean and comfy. TV , good choice of Chanel’s. Bathroom clean and functional, shower water pressure not the best. Had dinner in the restaurant, the pub area was really lovely and Sunday roast was good but our server girl seemed pretty grumpy. No Limoncello, although on the menu. Table of quite drunk and load people in the pub which sort of spoilt it , making you feel a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was amazing and included in the price.

Lovely set up here for dining and rooms. The block we stayed in is a converted bungalow council style building and is pleasantly renovated with a generous garden area. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good.
