This was one of the most troublesome resorts I have ever stayed at in terms of service. I personally witnessed another guest being assigned a room that had not been cleaned after the previous occupant checked out. In addition, on Christmas Eve, a staff member directed me to the wrong bus, which did not go to the sports and ski resort. Most disappointing of all, the front desk reception provided no warm welcome—service was delivered without courtesy or a smile.

The apartment was clean and have good amenities. The fireplace was great fun and kept the apartment warm. There is a barbecue but we didn’t use it as it was too cold on the balcony. The sauna was also great especially after a day of snowboarding. There are good restaurants within 15 minutes walking distance and the K Supermarket is also nearby. Another thing to note is the store of firewood in the firewood store downstairs. We can have a fire every evening. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. A bonus are the USB ports at the power points next to the beds in both rooms. We also managed to see the Aurora from the balcony👍

I stayed at an apartment with my family for 5 nights. The apartment was well equipped with furnished kitchen. The rooms were comfortable and warm. The reception was a bit far for us from the apartment considering walking in snow with a toddler. The is a kiosk at reception but unfortunately we don't get groceries in here too use in kitchen so you need to go to supermarket. The apartment is maintained quite well. If you walk to the reception area the bus stop, restaurants.. are reachable quite conveniently so it depends where in holiday club your room/apartment is allocated. They were kind enough to let us borrow the toboggan to drop our luggage to and from the apartment area as pulling the suitcases in snow was very difficult. The staff was always helpful and available 24*7.

Shocking, shocking, shocking. We stayed for a three night stay and were told on check in that we had to move the next day as they didn't have the same room available. This is so poor, was my sons birthday and we had to cancel activities to move rooms with suitcases in heavy snow. Be very careful if you booking over a weekend. Expedia customer service has subsequently been dreadful

Throughly enjoyed our visit. The apartment came fully equipped with everything you would need to make meals and feel right at home. We had a fabulous view from the balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Will be staying here again. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Excellent apartment, very well equipped even down to plenty of washing powder, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, kitchen roll and bin bags. Superb location central to Saariselkä centre and walking distance to ski resort. Lovely welcoming reception area with well stocked and reasonably priced shop. Would definitely stay here again.

Roomy apartment

Roomy apartment with an attic with 4 single beds and a toilet. On the ground level, we have sauna, toilet, kitchen, living area and a bedroom with a queen bed. Good size for 2 people. There are washing machine and dryer but they do not seem to be working.
