Comfortably furnished apartment, located on the outskirts of Hinterglemm, with a view of the mountains from the balcony. Due to the top location to the gondolas, the (ski) bus, bars and restaurants (all about 250 m to 400 m away), as well as to the town center, holidaymakers can (almost) do everything on foot. The well-designed, appealing apartment with 2 sleeping areas is designed for 5 people. 1 bedroom with 2 beds is separated from the living area by a curtain, the second The bedroom is an independent room, with a door separated from the rest of the living area and equipped with 3 beds. In addition, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (without dishwasher) for self-catering, as well as an elegant bathroom; in the center of the apartment is the living-dining area with balcony. The apartment does not currently have W-LAN (There is no WIFI available in our apartment), but the ski area has many free WIFI hotspots that the mountain railways provide free of charge. A private parking space belonging to the apartment and a large lockable cellar for water or Winter sports equipment or bikes are just as much a part of this as the rushing torrent of the torrent next door. The small country road that goes past the house ends after a few kilometers at the end of the valley. Despite all the activities that the place offers, the apartment is a place of rest. In summer there is plenty of space around the house for children to play outdoors.

Beautiful and comfortable condo with an amazing view.

The condo was absolutely beautiful!! We loved every detail, especially the comfy sectional for lounging. The kitchen was very well appointment, the best we have ever seen for cookware, bake ware, and utensil options. The proximity to the beach and the view were amazing. Even on the days it was either too hot or raining we were able to enjoy watching and listening to the waves from the balcony or main living area. The unit was very quiet; while inside we never heard any noise from the construction downstairs. The only downside was there was not closed caption on the TVs or the cable for my dad who is very hard of hearing. We were very saddened to watch the people in another unit and on the benches feeding the deer. Maybe in addition to the do not hang items on the balcony notice there could be postings about not feeding the wildlife. We will definitely be staying at Captains Walk again, and hopefully in the same unit.

Love this place!

This was the first time my family and I had been to Hilton Head. We absolutely loved it! The condo was in a great location and exceptionally clean. The decor was lovely. It was easy to get to anything from this location. We will be sure to stay here again in the future.

The accommodations were terrific. Beds incredibly comfortable. Very spacious apartment. Was so happy they provided tall stools out on the balcony so we could see over the rail. Would have given all 5 stars except that the coffee pot had no lid and the toaster burned out the second day we were there. We had called the property manager about the coffee pot, requesting a replacement but none was ever delivered. Didn't see any use in requesting a working toaster at that point!! Beyond that - everything was pretty much perfect. Bike riding was so fun. We weren't able to go into the ocean because of the jellyfish, but you can walk along the beach forever and a day. Wonderful. Sunrise was tops! Thanks!

The condo was as pictured. It was well maintained, well appointed, and a wonderful location. We went the week between Christmas and New Years and there was hardly anyone else in our building I think. It was very quiet and a wonderful stay. The weather was chilly and a little rain, but the view was still terrific and proximity other other Hilton Head sites were great.

Fantastic view and comfortable, well appointed unit!

We've been visiting HHI for years, typically in Sea Pines or Palmetto Dunes, so we know the area and the numerous rentals. This condo has a great view of the ocean from a very private balcony with, I might add, very comfortable and composite outdoor furniture. Another plus is that you look right out to the ocean without any obstructions from the pool or other common areas. The photos are exact!! This unit was recently updated (2016?) and the furnishings and decor are GREAT! The kitchen has basically everything you may need, although we like to cook so brought some of our own utensils. There is no underground parking or storage, just to let other travelers know. We had a lovely stay and would rent this unit again in a heartbeat!!

The view from this condo is great! you can hear the ocean waves when you open the windows in the master bedroom. The decor and appliances are new and up to date. However the cleanliness of this rental is very disappointing!! There was black hair on the sheets as well as in sinks and shower! The elevator in this building also needs major help!! It dripped water from ceiling tiles the entire time and also got stuck!! Not a very good experience!!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist top. Zur Talstation sind es ca. 5-8 Minuten zu Fuß. Zur Rodelbahn mit Nachtrodeln ca. 15 Minuten. Auch Nacht Skifahren ist ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß (ohne Skistiefel :-) entfernt. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Der Ausblick vom Balkon direkt auf die Piste. Schlüsselübergabe war unproblematisch mit der detaillierten Beschreibung der Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Fotos.
